I am going to AdTech and damn excited about it! I just booked my flight and hotel for the trip. I will be in New York from Nov 1st - Nov 8th. Im staying in a sick hotel near the Rockefeller Center. I would love to do some networking with any other members at the event. Also, suggestions of things for me to see during the day would be greatly appreciated. This is going to be my first time in New York City! I'm very excited. You can PM me, or hit me up on AOL as well to discuss.

P.S. I will be unveiling my new online marketing platform at AdTech. Its not going to be ready for two months though. Does anyone know how I can get one of the expensive passes for free. or at a discount? I negotiated a 450 a night hotel room, all the way down to 247 a night. Im a monster negotiator.
 


I pretty sure i'm gonna check it out. This being you're first time in NYC, I can show you the ropes. If you have half way decent social skills, I can hook you up with some pussy too.
 
Copeac and XY7 are sponsoring the Crobar party.. we should have a WickedFire meet there, or maybe a meet at the Hilton (location of Ad:Tech) on the first day at a specific time as well.

Not sure if I can have tshirts done by then, but I'm trying to get some done. If I can get a good count of how many people will be there, then I should be able to have some done for it. I just don't want to have to lug around 100 tshirts. Also figure the weather here isn't exactly tshirt weather anyhow, so maybe I'll look into the long sleeve tees or sweatshirts.

It's about 3 weeks away and I'm looking forward to it.

Also.. if any of you need a good hotel, I used to always put my friends up at The Ameritania on 54th and Broadway, right around the corner from The Late Show (David Letterman) studio, it's also about 6 blocks from Times Square, right on Broadway. The rooms are trendy and really nice, and I think the prices range from $110-$400 a night. But you should probably book it asap because hotels and flights here skyrocket overnight.

Just checked the prices and all up it will cost me, around $2,600 US to get there including the flights and accomodation, looks like I am not going :D

Jay Leno is filmed in Burbank, CA

They give out about 100 tickets every day for Conan, you have to stand out there early in the morning like a dork with who knows how many other people and hope you can get a ticket or 2

If you call right now you might be able to reserve tickets without having to wait outside with a hangover at 8 in the morning.
 
fuck i registered to go to adtech, if I come I want be doing anything but the expo, as the sessions look like they are geared toward potato chip and soda execs :)

I wasnt sure if many people from here were going at all. Good to see a few of these worseless fucks will be there, I may go afterall.
 
what other hotels are near the hilton? They want 600 dollars a night for the hilton and thats with the AAA discount!

There are so many.. seriously, all over town. Staying in NYC is not like where you stay one place and you are far from something else. Here everything is pretty much connected. Even if you stayed all the way on the upper east or west side, you can still just hop on the subway or get a cab and be where you need to be in 30 mins or less. Everything here moves quickly.

I invited some chick to come up from Nov 6 - Nov 8. Its guaranteed ass and shes staying with me in my hotel. But from Nov 1 - Nov 5 lets go fucking sarging.
 
There are some expensive ass hotels. If you want to get a discount, ask the 8 dollar an hour receptionist if you can speak to her manager. Tell the manager that you have stayed at their hotel in the past, but the rate is just too high. If they can lower it, I will book RIGHT NOW over the phone. It usually works. I've gotten W hotels to reduce their rate from 500 a night to 350, and from 350 to 265 a night.
 
I have a pass for the exhibit hall.

I live in manhattan about a ten minute cab ride away so I figured I would check it out. I'm definately up for meeting up with some wicked fire people and getting drinks.

(edit...Also going to Pubcon Vegas in Nov)
