WickedFire down off and on?

Keep getting a "502 Bad Gateway" message almost every time I try to access a different page on WF. Started about 30 minutes ago -- Is it happening for anyone else?

Nope, it's been fine for me.

But on the subject of site performance, wickedfire pages take ages to fully load for me, even when they appear to be complete. Except for the favicon: maybe that's it?

Happened to me also. Every once in a while I have also gotten a no response error.

I think it's because http://www.wickedfire.com:8080/vbseo_tracker.gif isn't loading. I notice a slow down on some pages but not all of them. Maybe that's because of CACHE though.

Isn't this the 2nd or 3rd time that VBSEO thing has caused downtime?

They're aware of it due to this thread: http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/117375-wickedfire-admins-please-fix-annoyance.html. They fixed http://banners.wickedfire.com/, which was causing the board to run slow.

Ever since WF was down few weeks (was it a month), I can't access WF via any computer if I type wickedfire.com .. It still downloads a damn file when I type that.

I need to go to a page to access it.. so I have a page bookmarked.. Not sure whats up..

You need to go and delete your browser history and that will get rid of the file download.
