Hmmm actually, being a democrat I'm having a hard time with this one, especially since I like the guy. How about some reverse psychology?

Give the Democrats a fighting chance, Don't Nominate Ron Paul! :D

Same here, kinda. I'd say I'm a social-liberal, but not a million miles away from the libertarian viewpoint.

For a Republican Ron Paul seems cool - I really hope he wasn't lying about wanting to see US leaders and generals tried in the International Criminal Court. Sending Bush to The Hague would be the strongest signal he could send the world that he's not the same as all the others.

At least you get to vote. Like it or not, this election will change the world and the world doesn't have a say. If I could vote I'd go for Kuchnich or Edwards, but between Clinton or Obama and Paul? Then, go Ron Paul!

Looks like we might be having a general election here in Nov (funny how the systems differ, here they can call one with a months notice!).. I'm hoping for a hung parliament.

I'm already capped otherwise I would.

SQUIRT didn't leave you with $25 extra bucks this month?

Ok guys... we're moving a little slow here. I mean... I'm giving away semi-free CASH!

You donate 10-20-30-50 bucks and come up with a good slogan: BAM you get $100

IF WE DON'T hit 5k (200 people chipping in $25 measely fucking dollars) I ain''t paying out any cash.

Fuck it - if we hit $4,500 - I'll chip in the extra $500 and STILL pay out the $100 + the zippo + the douchebaggery.

"Capped" does not = "Strapped"

"Under current federal law, it is illegal for an individual to give more than $1,000 to a Presidential candidate per election during the entire primary season."

You can give another $1000 during the general election.

yep, but actually its $2,300 this year. You can however find friends and family and have them donate for you. Thats what a lot of lobbyists do to donate those big bucks.

You can actually donate upto $4600, with 2300 earmarked for primary and 2300 for general. If the candidate loses primary they return the general portion. People on Ron Paul forums are going ahead and doing the full max.

So a couple could donate $9200, and a "family", well...
