This community has gone to hell in a handbasket. Its as if the discussions have degenerated into newbies asking stupid questions, landing pages, and attacks on other forums. I don't give a **** about sitepoint or digitalpoint. I'M getting tired of the obsession with landing pages and blogging. N00bs that ask stupid questions should be banned on the spot. The resource center still isnt complete after 8 months.

There seems to be a shortage of original quality ideas or posts that help people make money. Just a lot of senseless ranting and rehashed repetitive material. I'm tired of blogging case studies and questions about landing pages. I'm tired of idiot noobs. I don't care about digitalpoint or Aaron wall's comment againt stymiee.
 


boo hoo hoo, I agree on the overwhelming noobie questions lately that aspect made me cut down on my time here, but in reality its got to be done, how the fuck are you supposed to actually grow the forum a little bit more if you don't have the user base, you have to train them a little bit.

If you don't want to hear about DP or SP, then don't visit the shooting the shit questions, if you hate blogging then fuck you too thats your problem, but as for an overall quality score, yeah I can see how its dropping a bit but there are still good members kicking around.

It seems like just because of a little influx in noobies means everyone else is on a hating spree, fuck that get with it, maybe there is a serious fucking lack of intermediate to experts around, you know the guys who don't bother with forums cause they already know what the fuck is going on to the fullest or at least to the point where they are making enough not to care about the next guy.

Which means training must begin, but that also means if the influx in noobies gets extremely insane action must be taken.

Its not that I don't like blogging but there are too many questions, how-to guides, and case studies centered around it.

Yeah, some of the threads in SOS get on my nerves too. I couldn't give a damn about drama happening between people at SP or DP or anywhere. This is really the only webmaster forum that I frequent. And if there was major drama here, I probably wouldn't be all that interested either. I really have better things to do than argue with others online. And I definitely have better things to do than keep up with others' arguments online.

However, the "n00bs" are an integral part of any forum. You, as a webmaster, (I presume) should know that as well as anyone. Sure, it makes the landscape change but that's the way it goes. Some can be annoying but others are here to give back and be pretty cool people.

What I'm wondering, though, is how you felt this was such a big deal that you felt that you needed to post this complaint under a false name. I mean, did you expect some kind of repercussion coming your way if you posted this complaint under your real name? Because it just doesn't seem to me like that would happen.

Dunno. Just curious is all.

That would make for a pretty boring forum. If you just want to talk shit go to somethingawful or collegehumor since they specialize in that.

You go to a stock market forum to hopefully become a better investor. You go to an affiliate marketing forum to learn how to become a more efficient marketer.

You're a fucking idiot. I am a forum owner in a particular niche , if people didn't have a place to just talk crap, then it would suck. At the same time it is also highly regarded because of the quality of the on target posts and threads.

I come here to talk crap, help when I can, and pick up something when I can. If the mods didn't want me here, then they would ban me.

Every forum has newbs asking stupid questions, the goal is to convert those newbs into quality posters.

I'm done arguing with a troll.

haha boy how this thread just picked up real quick, I agree what is your actual user name, oh wait it doesn't matter our mods are pretty smart anyway and can figure it out in no time flat so if your affraid of getting banned from the mods you should have taken that into considertaion.

I hope your using different IPs.
 
I think I'm gonna create a new name so I can complain that there isn't enough people posting on here about how the quality of the forum is going down.
