I kinda like new Sumit. He's not popping off the the lyrical wisdom old Sumit did, enlightening our minds and embiggening our heats. But there is an amazing hysterical Indian quality about him I think is great. I agree, we need to get that man a podcast or something. Stick around new Sumit. I think after the shock has worn off, people might be a little more accepting.
Unfortunately there is no going back now. Even if old Sumit did come back using sumitdhawan09, it wont be the same. It will never be the same. His time has come and gone. And because it's over, I would really like to know who the old Sumit was. Who do I give all the props to?

How about taking this to the next level and treating the Sumit persona like a business: Old Sumit could license name and image from New Sumit. Maybe one day, Sumit, Inc.

The sumit we have all known and loved has been bodysnatched by an unknown entity.
Tonight I will pray 3 times to Vishnu to safely deliver the real sumit back to his rightful place and expel this wolf in sumit's clothing.
I hate to admit it, but I didn't even read any of this thread when it was happening in real time. I was away from WF for a while, and some how missed all of the Sumit drama.
After reading this thread from start to finish, my fucking head hurts, and I'm saddened at the same time. I always looked forward to the old Sumit's posts. But what's been done can't be undone. Getting the old Sumit back wouldn't be the same.
The same shit happened on Twitter back when it first started getting popular. I was following Christopher Walken. So were about 75K other people. He was tweeting some of the most random Christopher Walkinisims that sounded just like the actor. 6 months later it was found out that he wasn't Walken and he Twitter banned him. The followers created such an uproar that Twitter let him re-join keep tweeting his Walken tweets...but it was never the same.
