Windows 7: My Take

That only talks bout the first quarter, we're already into the third quarter.

Uh, business quarters don't run necessarily by the calendar year. You can start your fiscal year pretty much whenever you want. So yes very much possible it's Microsofts first fiscal quarter.

my laptop blew up today and have been using xp pro on it for 6years which i have lived but i've been researching windows 7 and thought I would pass on this review. i though it was the best review summarzing everything about windows 7 that i could find (the author has supposedly been beta testing windows 7 for a year.) anyways, just thought i'd pass it on if people are curious. my biggest concern is backward compatability with XP software but seems like Windows 7 professional edition(not home edition) allows you to run XP thru XP mode....."Windows 7 Home Premium does not support Virtual XP Mode for running older programs in a maximum compatibility mode."
