It is different in ICS. There is a like running process list that is easily accessible from anywhere. You just press that it'll show you ever thing that is running then click the app you want. Simple.

Not saying it isn't possible to get back to something, Windows Phone just does it in a more fluid, natural way.

It does have proper multitasking too, accessed by holding the back button.

Clearly a lot of people here are bagging it without ever trying it... typical response to anything from Microsoft.

Why do you think it is a typical response to Microsoft?

They have a history of half-assing every new venture they attempt to enter, when they are late to the party. Eventually they get somethings right, sometimes, but usually way too late.

If a company is know for putting out bad products, what would you expect to be a typical response to a new product they put out. Everyone's reputation preceeds them. It will take time for them to re-build the reputation. On the flip side there is Apple, which is know for great products, if their start fucking up, people will forgive them until they have no choice but look for an alternative, and they too will have a long road to rebuilding.

If you are know for building shitty products, don't be surprised when people don't take you seriously.

They made it a $1000 challenge at the grand opening of the Microsoft Store in Austin.

I read somewhere that October or so they are going to be releasing wp8 on the galaxy s3, though it'll be called something else. I was gonna get the s3, but I think I'll wait and switch to the windows phone.

I just moved all of my stuff off of google apps and into office 365, and I'm loving it so far. I figure it should be well integrated into wp8, so I'll give the total package a shot.

It is supposed to be called the Samsung Focus S2 from what I have read.
