I want to keep everyone updated on my site. I was not able to post any content to it yesterday, because we had family in from out of town, though I added a few articles and posts Friday and today. I also added a link block to all pages to interlink other content pages....
Here are the posts and pages I added, you will see the link block at the bottom of each page. Oh yeah, I believe I registered Lendsense about two weeks ago and also only started developing the domain about a week maybe a week and a half ago, so far it looks like all pages are indexed with google, though I would have to do an accurate page count, if not all a good percentage of them are. Ok enough here are the articles and posts ive made since Friday or so....

I would suggest to anyone using WP to set up a nice ping list, dont bother pinging every service out there but get a good list put together or take a shortcut and copy and paste this list, its pretty solid..

Also make sure you have your blog set up to grab post titles to be placed in <title> tags....
I have been pissing around with meta description tags on the fly, but havent really found a solid solution, im no php guru, actually far from it so if anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated. Ive tryed using;
Code:
<meta name="description" content="<?php the_excerpt(); ?>
But there are two problems, one of which no program or snippet of code will duplicate or generate accurately, that is the description tag should be generally a description of the pages content, I dont see any program being able to scan a page and accurately come up with an accurate, readable description. The second, like I said if I were a php programmer id probably be able to figure this out, is that using <?php the_excerpt(); ?> will add the first, I believe 50 words of the pages content and then place them within the tag, but it also place any markup in the tag as well, like <p>, <br /> and <div> tags..... If I could somehow control the number of words or charachters displayed and also drop all markup tags, I think it would be a viable option for setting on the fly meta description tags or description tags unique to each page and its content...
Ok im done rambling....
oop not yet, I really should wait untill we are in the learning center to add this shit, but if I dont post it now it will be lost forever, trust me! Id rather get it out now then not post it at all because the thought doesnt come up in the future, so sorry for cluttering this thread!
