Anyone got any recommendations for a good wireless headphone set that has a mic? Having a button to answer a skype call would be a big plus but not a necessity. Also I'd prefer something with decent sound quality so i can jam to music and have a good range on the signal.

It doesn't have to be cheap or in a certain price range but preferably not so expensive that when i inevitably break it (and I will) i don't cry like a baby.

THANKS!

What kind of gamer keybinds to their headphone? LOL.

Sorry Eli, wish I had some recommendations but don't. I just use whatever mic I happen to grab first from the tangled pile. ;)

After some research I'm thinking of this one
Logitech - Wireless Gaming Headset G930
It has programmable keys so I'm wondering if its possible to program them to do the hotkeys for answering and hanging up on skype calls. Not sure though.

I looked into thee a few months ago when looking for a wireless headset with good quality. I had to pass on them because of the battery life. 8 hours. Nearly every wireless was about that long, which sucks because it means I'll have to have it sit on the recharging station pretty much the whole day until I'm ready to use it or use it and swap to another headset if I want continuous music in the background while working or talking to people for long periods of time multiple times throughout the day.

I'd only get those if you only use them for short bursts of time, otherwise stick to a wired headset with a long cord. Logitec's new wired headsets have a decent reach and you can buy an adapter to extend it (had to do this when was talking on Skype a lot a few months back and had to keep rolling my chair across the room).

My brother bought the G930 for gaming and talking in Teamspeak. I tried it out, it feels nice on the head, the sound is fucking awesome and when I hear him speak in Teamspeak it sounds way better than any other headset I've heard. The wireless range is also pretty good, during our last DotA game he went to take a piss with the headset on so he could still talk with us in TS

I've got a G35, basically the wired version, and love it. Tried a bunch of others before this one, including Senheisers, and the G35 is the best headset I've owned yet. Tough too. Although, in the time I've owned it, I've never used the buttons on the side.

/edit/ forgot to mention, the cord (I know you said you want wireless) is 9 ft long. So, even wrapped around my messy desk, it doesn't pull or get stuck on stuff.
