emp, I have a weight bench here at home with a squat rack, etc.

I was just curious if it would be worthwhile to throw in the exercise ball since I spend so much time sitting around, its only going to get worse, I start a new job on Monday as a web-designer so that will be another 8 hours of sitting at a desk.

Benchpresse won't do a lot for the lower back. Try squats, desdlifts, standing rows and hyperextensions (if ya have the equipment, else go find a gym)

And yes, get that exercize ball.

Switch between the ball and the chair several times during the day. works wonders.

PS: Going to a new gym first time now. Also been off exercize for about 1 year due to tendonitis (chronic, still have it)
