It's appears no harder than a rugby hit. There's more mass involved, but then it's relative. The bloke getting hit is big, the bloke hitting is big. To me it looks practically the same only with pads.
Meh, whatever. It's egg chasing no matter what way you look at it and both sports are bollocks in my opinion.
here's the test for me, what hit would i rather be on the receiving end of us. And I'm going with any of those rugby hits over a full speed nfl linebacker WITH pads on.
Going on that basis then, Football (soccer) is the most brutal sport going.
Search youtube for 'Aaron Ramsey tackle' or 'Eduardo tackle' and you'll see what I mean.
once again, this is getting pulled into an NFL vs Football thing.
Why can't you guys just enjoy both?
I like the NFL for the huge amount of tactic play that gets put into it. I love Football because you can sit back with your friends and go crazy when your team (nearly) scores or the ref has some weird calls.
And yeah, 95% of the world loves Football while most americans rather enjoy the NFL. So what? Most Americans I know do accept this fact and don't spend their whole day bitching on a forum.
