I knew I should have watched that stupid State of the Union speech... Apparently Obomba Raised the Minimum wage and then said he's helping out the fledgling industry of ---- 3D Printing! ----- !!!

(Because it will give so many murikans high-tech jerbs, of course.)

I'm so totally bummed. This tech should be on his Radar as the #1 or #2 terrorist threat to his empire because with it we'll be able to print all kinds of guns and shit he doesn't like.

Since he's embracing it... Holy fuck... He's going to regulate the hell out of that "industry" in order to "promote" it.

Think he's found a way to restrict file transfers of CAD files he doesn't like?
 


No, he's simply realised if he can get a 3D printer into every home he can just get Mericans to print their own trillion dollar coins.

Cost of Government reduced, unemployment fixed.

But no seriously, what you should do Obama is build a network of massive 3D printing facilities to make sure Merica is cutting edge, because God only knows while I know shit about the tech it's obviously fit for small scale real time manufacturing, not full scale mass production facilities.

I feel safer at night knowing this prick has his finger on 5000 nukes.
 
Mark my words, 3d printing is going to be the next big revolution as far as consumer electronics go.
 
Well, yeah... he wants the US to dominate the world when it comes to the next biggest revolution in manufacturing. I'm not sure why that would be a surprise to anyone.

Because it wouldn't make any more jobs than at some printer manufacturers? Meanwhile putting a large percentage of other manufacturers out of business?

Here are the facts...

1. Although uncle sam says we only have 8% or so unemployment, the latest realistic stats say it's closer to 24%... That's a quarter of the nation being completely unproductive and not earning jack.

2. Raising the minimum wage is a very stupid (Keynesian) mistake that will make it nearly impossible for unemployment levels to stay as low as they are... It wouldn't be too surprising to see unemployment go up to 35% once the employers respond to this madness.

3. Insult to Injury, in the same speech Obomba says he's spending (borrowed) money on the 3D printing industry, which is sure to put even more people out of work than ever before! It'll be just like the time India called and said "Hey, we can do some of that IT work for you really cheap..."

I know you guys just love my doom and gloom predictions, but seriously, how in the hell can Unemployment possibly NOT go over 50% from these actions?

I just don't find this local news interesting... Today it's all about how Thais have the world's most expensive Roses for V's day. And there's always some crap in the paper about the PM and what she said at a party or something... In fact the most interesting it ever gets in the news here is the talk about our fight to keep down the muslim extremeists in the south of the country... Yawn.

Why would I want to talk about that shit when the USA is rapidly going down in flames on the big screen?

In fact I'm starting to think that america is all that ANYONE talks about on a daily basis... It truly is Rome during the roman empire. (The end of it, specifically.)
