hahaha this is crazy, I have $20 bucks left in my Adwords account right now and I've got this eBay affiliate offer up on one of my sites, which converted a little here and there, never pushed much traffic to it, so I thought hey I wonder how fast I can burn through this $20 bucks so I bid on the term eBay for .36 cents a click average position of 2.4, that was about 30 minutes ago.

I got 13 clicks & 7,625 impressions wasted $4.55 so far, its strange cause I thought there was a 3 hour delay on Adwords reporting, maybe they improved it but thats what showed up just after I finished adding more keywords to a seperate site, I usually bid on longer tail terms and don't usually get traffic that fast.

Oh yeah it was a broad term match as well, so there is no real point to this thread other then to see what other generic broad match terms people have bid on before.

i once bid on the term "free" cause lingle told me it would be good, now i use a gateway computer =(

hahaha I should try that term the next time I have nothing left in my account.

EDIT: Thats really fucked up I just checked it after another 30 minutes and no more impressions or clicks, which is strange how the clicks and shit would show up inside 30 minutes after creating it and then not show anything else, the reporting system is fucked sometimes.

Ohh and about 1.5 hours after launching the term eBay I got 31 clicks for a total cost of $10.84 average position of 2.3 and they went into the poor quality score status and wanted me to up my bid to $12 bucks haha well it was fun for the short run, oh yeah got 20,372 impressions at the end.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you can't bid on "ebay" if you're pushing ebay as an affiliate....?

i accidentally bid on the letter h once. I actually got some clicks, no conversions though
