there is a huge reggae/dancehall scene in Germany. if you find that shocking go check out the Japanese dancehall scene. hell there is even a cambodian one.

"Aufstehen" means to "get up" and the text is all up-beat about "Hey, you slept to long, life is happening, get up."

Nice stuff

"Das Leben will einen ausgeben und das will ich sehn" --> "Life wants to buy us a drink (less literal: be generous) and I wanna see that (I wanna be there)"

"gestern warn die top10 scheiss, heute sind sie heiss. Und Du tanzt, das ich Gott für deine Kiste preis." --> "The top 10 were shit yesterday, today they are hot. And you dance so that I praise god for your ass."

Crazy, I understood all that, and haven't spoken german in almost 4 years. Ha, guess it comes right back.
