I normally don't blast someone's name on a forum, cuz that's not like me. Though, just like everyone else, I don't like being scammed for any type of money, whether it be 5, 10, 20, 100, 100,000. It's my money, I earned it, and no one has the right to take it (except the IRS).

With that being said, the user XOOMSERVICE2010 is a fraud. First, he found me via another thread looking for a yellowbook scraper. Since I already purchased this, I told him no, I already have it, but do you have a google scraper for businesses/emails/addresses. He said yes.

Sent me the paypal link and told me that he would wait for me to pay so he could send me the software/serial code. I paid my $20.00, and contacted him. Then I waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Two days later, I finally make a dispute. You know what that son-of-a-bitch does? Tells paypal is an electronic delivery and that he already sent it. He then escalated the claim and I can't even post any information.

No PMs from him, no contact, no software. He currently has a few threads, and as you can see by my iTrader, this isn't the first time I've done business on here.

He is a fraud, and shouldn't be part of this community. I visit this site every single day, and it's people like him who's fucking up the services area.

I know I don't have the right to ban him, but he shouldn't be able to fraud anyone else.

So, with that being said, BUYER BEWARE of XOOMSERVICE2010.

// End Rant

I'm pretty certain (not 100%) that paypal will ALWAYS side with the buyer when it comes to electronic "goods".

I'm inclined to say no as well. I actually had the same issue with a fucker over at DP (he has a database .co.uk site - can't remember the url right now).

Got scammed, paid him, he sent a non working scraper, never replied, I submitted the claim with a thorough description, he rebuttals saying that he had talked to me and i said I shared it with other people and how I wanted a refund because I was done using it and other BS... then immedidately after he excalates it so I cant reply.

Paypal sides wit him and tell me to screw off. If I ever set foot in the UK I'll be looking him up...

And that's the fucked up thing about Paypal. How you gonna let the other party escalate it so you can't reply? That's utter bullshit.

From my experience when I have have been ripped off by people using PayPal on NON-TANGIBLE goods, if I escalate the claim I automatically lost the dispute. The dispute system once escalated should only work for TANGIBLE goods, so there has to be a physical product, shipping confirmations etc.. If you escalate the dispute yourself on a non-tangible deal you will automatically lose. Since PayPal does not support disputes on non-tangible products, as far as I know.

I could be wrong in your situation, whenever it happened to me, I was the buyer and the seller ripped me off (deal was made on non-tangible goods) and I escalated the claim and lost it every time automatically. Since PayPal told me that the escalation is only done on tangible goods. The seller never escalated it on my end, I did that myself.

+1 for xoomservice2010 being a scammer.

Enjoy my $10, cunt. You could have made hundreds monthly off me if you're actually willing to do the work.

Digi-Guy has until I wake up to avoid getting outed in his own thread.

Commonality between the two, both wanted to use Western Union instead of Paypal. Should have been an immediate red flag to cut bait and run rather than continuing to deal. Shame on me.

I was scammed by this person on DP. This person said he could do the job for $90. I paid the $90 and was given the run around. Tried to sell me other services that were already included in the agreement. He accessed my forum website and cleared admin logs. The next day still no work on my website. I run a search in google for his user name and find this post. I decide not to bring it up and consider it a misunderstanding or a different person. And just a few hours ago he tells me his account was limited. The following is the case number he provided.
He told me he was on the phone with paypal to get the limitation removed. 2.5 hours later he's still on the phone with paypal and told me to relax.
5 hours later he said he wanted me to pay him via Alertpay another $90. I told him I would have to wait until i get my refund from paypal. He says, "But my account limited, please send to my alertpay.
Thats when I blocked him. I would just like a refund of my $90 as no services have been rendered. He made conversation with me via MSN: xoomservice2010
