I actually made an offer for chrisward.com once, $200 was declined (I was a poor student back then).

Next thing that happened is that they renewed it, extending the expiry to 10 years ahead!

Personally I don't think the owner has another 10 years

Actually that website is not a scam -- it is a NetSol service and they have access to the corporate clients. That is the place where I've heard people getting some really big offers.
