Those are not a big deal. If you refuse the scanner you get touched all over.

I went through one a week ago..was praing that I won't get stopped because of the pad & tampon in my pants..but it was all fine.

Except it sends some ungodly amount of dangerous radiation surging through your body. Plus they SEE YOU NEKKID.

Still, I let them do it to me at JFK last time I was there. I had a semi at the time, so I figured it would be fine.

I actually got stopped after the full body scan due to having my passport in my back pocket and somethign to do with my necklace which is made out of wood. They asked to take a sample off my palms and ran it through this machine which I believe detects any bomb-making material on my hands.

I felt this was bullshit, since I showed the dude everything (passport, necklace) and he still persisted on taking a sample from my hands. Wouldn't of minded if he had a good reason though.

Sittin at JFK waiting to be picked up at the moment! Hopefully nothing goes down this weekend as I'll be in the city quite a bit.
