You Make $100K/Year. You Pay $30,000 In Taxes PER YEAR. Where does that money go?

Sometimes living in the EU is great. You can just fuck off to Malta for as long as your making serious bank. You only have to pay 5 percent even on 1 million.

Honestly, after going to Malta, I'd rather pay higher taxes than live there.

For instance, I'm 100% free to go where ever. I'm single again, no children, a couple pets.

This could be the most embarrassing thread on this forum. We are the people who get things done, even if it after a bout of depression/hangover/whatever.

Taxes are like the carrier who says you can't send adult traffic. Comply or start your own country. Maybe you'll figure out what mankind hasn't.

It's a fun epiphany, but every high school kid with a cool econ/sociology/poli-sci teacher learned taxes are too much and fund a bloated jobs system. wah. You're better than this.

Several options from here:

1) complain. maybe blame a group that is an easy target. worked for Hitler. Let's open a thread about how irritating gravity is while we're at it.
2) change the system - oh yeah, and human nature.
3) keep doing what you're doing. create. arbitrage. whatever. Just do it faster than people who create taxes' ability to create taxes. And get a good accountant.

tldr; complaining about taxes/governmental inefficiency is a waste of your time. If you live in a relatively stable country, keep kicking butt @ whatever it is you do and disregard the noise.

The system is fucked, and we all know it, but there's nothing we can do about it, so it's better to just not think about it. It's shitty to say - it sounds defeatist, and it is - but what are we supposed to do? There's no point in getting angry over something you really can't do anything about.

Make the fuck sure we don't lose our 2nd amendment rights.

I think that 30% Tax for high-end earners is ok since there some people earning just $150-$200 and there needs to be equality provided for all.
