Ok, so to make a long story short, after making the front page of a ton of news sites with a recent article on my blog, my host decided to just shut my hosting off and suspend my account.

After negotiating with them for like 10 hours, and talking to about 5 different people, none of which spoke good english, I managed to get it put back up. However little did they know I was also looking into new hosting at the same time.

Soooo Jon refered me to Survivedigg.com for my blog which I have copied all my stuff over too, but i still want to stick it too my old host... soooo

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to submit this article to as many social networking sites as possible in an attempt to give these people hell, for the hell they gave me.

Its already been submitted to Digg, and you can Digg it Here. If you know of any other social networking sites feel free to submit it. I want to go out in a ball of fire with guns blazing.

Doesn't this thing happen to everyone? If you get a digg article to the frontpage, what do you expect, them to put all there other customers online time in jeopardy just to keep you up? I sure as hell wouldn't, you would be offline in a flash.

But I dugg it anyway

I wouldnt be as pissed if I didn't get referred to 3 different departments, have to talk to 5 different people, and have it take 10 hours to get it back up

I agree with you. It strains the server and if the site isn't optimized then it's your fault, not the host's.
You're on a shared host so don't bitch about them kicking you off, you get what you pay for.

Your server can't handle that traffic?

I guess the good part about starting making money online in adult is your prepared for massive bandwidth from day one. No dig article would take down any of my servers...

My blog wasnt on one of our dedicated servers, it was on a shared server, however the downtime is not why im switching hosts, its the way they handled it and the horrible customer service that followed.

survivedigg went down when it got on digg's front page a few weeks ago
go figure

Nah it didn't.. they got dugg too early before it was ready to lauch.. kinda like premature ejaculation. The party is starting, and you're not ready for it to be over so quickly. Or at least that's how I remember you explaining your problem to me Stanley.
