Exactly. Utter rubbish. So many of life's problems revolve around finances, job security, being able to support a family... remove those problems and there would be a lot more happiness in this world. Does money always bring joy? Of course not. A few of the more notable financial failures and suicides of the rich and famous illustrate the point that for some personalities and people with chronic mental disorders, money doesn't bring happiness, but it sure makes things a lot better for the average joe.

He killed himself by OD'ing on pills. He was broadcasting it on stickam if I remember right. After he didn't move for 5 mins or so, some people starting getting his IP to contact the authorities. The last thing you see on the video is the police bashing in the door to try to save him, but it was too late. His handle was candy junky or something like that. Was pretty sad.

I remember that one. I thought it was broadcast on justin.tv

That forum got a good scrubbing soon afterwards. A lot of the comments egging him on disappeared.

just a correlation - it may be possible that happiness causes one to have relationships. But if you're some miserable asshole with money and you're still unhappy, maybe its time to make some friends. Give some love and appreciation.
 
my nose started bleeding while i was watching very strange timing.
and my nose never bleeds or at least i cant remember thats even stranger. no bull.
 
People that make a spectacle out of it don't get any of my sympathy. It's like crazy chicks that freak out when you stop calling them and then leave you voicemails saying they just took 15 Tylenol PMs. People that use that shit for attention, even if they actually go through with it, are just lame people, IMO.

It's the ones that you don't expect whatsoever that don't advertise it at all and then off themselves out of the blue that I perceive differently. Obviously I have no idea what they must be going through to take it to that extreme, so I'm certainly not going to criticize them for it. People that didn't want any attention, they just wanted to GTFO.

I hope that made sense. I'm pretty drunk right now.
 
just saw the video and he's face went dark blue......now I know what suicide looks like and will not be attempting it anymore. I mean in the past I was on anti-depressants and shit was bad but making money quickly changed things. I wonder if that guy would be alive if he made more money.

im glad I saw the video, and I hope that people on WF who are planning suicide to watch it....it should completely turn you off OR it might look like a good deal...

of course it did. having aspergers completely alters your perspective of reality. he probably felt no pleasure all his life and had some kind of altered perspective of life and didn't feel a purpose to his life. if you went through depression imagine that kind of perspective, possibly amplified 100x in his case, and extremely difficult to treat (having aspergers and all). he probably had a lot more than just aspergers though.
 
I've got no love at all for suicidal people. Just another form of population control IMO, hope they knock off before having kids is my only request.

Where's heavyT when you need him, surely he's got a great perspective of this.
