your favourite tech toy of the moment

Sam: If you're still running Linux on it after installing the 2gb of RAM, it goes like a rocket :D
I haven't put bluetooth in on mine, simply because I've got one of those little bluetooth nubs that barely sticks out the side, but I like to swap it for a serious MOFO bluetooth V2 caster from time to time... Gets me 150m signal at 22mbs and can do 10 streams at a time. Great for some guerrilla advertising.

Yeah, even after 10 months, I'm still pretty psyched about my iphone. So slick, I can't believe I was using a POS razr for so long before it.

Nokia N95 - the most versatile phone I've ever had. Puts the iPhone to shame.

Ordered a new laptop on Monday, so that might become the favorite tech toy once it gets here

I'm running Xandros... smooth sailing for me.

i also unwire my desktop. Bluetooth keyboard/mouse/headphone and i finally go some space on my table now

I've got a new Dell Inspiron 1525 on the way with 4 gig of ram. Pretty amped about it, as it will be the first laptop I've ever purchased.

Sad, I know, but I've never really needed one before. I probably still don't need one, but I did need a new computer and figured it might as well be portable.

Oh yeah, but my current favorite techie thing is my new 22" widescreen monitor. The contrast and brightness on my old 19" CRT were so bad, that WF looked like it was all the same color of black, there was very little if any difference between the background and the name blocks. It was bad. So, porn was almost unwatchable (almost)

Got a second 21" widescreen (2007FP) and set it next to my E207. Now I sometimes spend 10 minutes flinging "Wobbly Windows" back and forth across the desktop :D

Or downloading every 3360x1050 wallpaper I can find...

On laptops: I just added a GB of RAM to my Thinkpad T30, and put in a new keyboard (cat pulled the 'M'-key off). Installed Ubuntu and it's been running like a champ. So much more fun to work mobile now.
