3 for me. Like everyone I've ever met in Thailand, Buddhism is more a toolset than a religion, but they'll gladly call it a religion to take the calendar holidays off for that religion when asked. (Which is of course, another useful tool it offers.)A question for the people who claim to be Buddhist:
Which of the three 'sects' of Buddhism do you fall into?
Do you not think calling it a religion 'clouds the debate' so to speak? It's misleading. The word 'religion' implies a belief in the supernatural - gods, miracles, karma, spiritual duality, that kind of nonsense - which you do not have.
