I have to do this, publically.

ZIMOK and I did a lil' something last year with biz and threw some money/efforts at an idea that to date hasn't materialized into millions but it was a great attempt.

We spent some time with the project but it was mostly his efforts and simply some of my guidance, money, and feedback.

Recently I let him simply have the business as my input was futile and minimal compared to what he was doing with it so I just walked away and let him have whatever rewards came to be - no harm done just more jam at the wall that didn't work as fast as we'd like and my other stuff just has me by the balls.....

We had a lot of cool chats and vibed off of each others styles/knowledge/planted seeds for future projects and just made sure it was a good fit for business both now and downstream.

Ok so today:

I get a call that there is an express post package that was signed for me and is awaiting pickup - I don't know why but the way it sounded so urgent I thought it was papers/I was being served lol.

I get my package - it's got ZIMOKs name on it and I start to remember he asked for my address.

Open the package:

10oz of silver (two nice bars)
SilverGold Investing Maloney book
USB portable harddrive
Some high end tea
Laura Secord Chocolate +other goodies..

And a letter printed out with some of the wickedest verbiage a dude can read from a biz partner.

WOW BRO!! Had to make this public fam your generosity is fucking overboard and I didn't expect this nor was is it necessary - HUGE FUCKING PROPS THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

I know this is random but just wanted to say thanks to WF in general too - amazing people on this board so in spite of all the 'has x scammed you?' threads, thought this would warm up some cold hearts. Don't be shy to do biz with good peeps at WF.

Bro you made my day thanks again.

To be honest, he's being quite sincere and should be taking WAY more credit than this. It's just the type of person he is, I was just giving back where I felt was due. In terms of context, if anyone of you were in my shoes you'd be showing him love as well. The guy just enhances your perceptions, business and future opportunities. Perception is reality and anyone who amplifies the reality of your being deserves a token of your gratitude.

To go on a small tangent, Einstein had three pictures on his wall of people he admired(Maxwell, Faraday and Newton for the curious)..so, if an intellectual elite like him needed people to look up to and gain inspiration from.. we shouldn't pretend that we don't. Even when you have the perfect idea, the perfect motive, the perfect everything - if you don't let yourself be inspired by a source outside of yourself, you're a lone wolf. A lone wolf is susceptible to all of his own shortcomings, the pack assists each other in order never to come short.

There's some advice I read here on WF way back when, and it's worth repeating. PM people. PM people you believe in. PM people who 'feel' real. I liken WF or any forum as being at a nice party.. Everything is superficial until you get someone one on one, little by little. That's all that happened here - I PM'd NCMedia after reading a post of his that let his character shine through.. presented an idea and after all this time, I'm fortunate to count him among an exclusive group whom I hold in the highest regards.

Congrats to Z for persevering and coming up with a successful campaign/product and props to Norb for sharing his infinite wisdom and funding the project. It's always awesome to hear success stories, and even more stoked when it comes from within the WF community :)

Now....how about sharing a little about what the project was? Was it a failure or success, or did Z branch out into something different where he found successes?

No need for specifics, was it an ecomm item, CPA offer, ebook etc? Enquiring minds need to know :p
