I was going to ask a question like this too. How do you pick what keywords? This shit confuses me for some reason. I'm running a zip only on 7search and it hasn't converted for shit. I haven't tried pushing it on the 1st tier because they pay so low.
That's just plain silly.. zips are for US traffic, 7search doesn't geo-target. You could be paying for traffic and for all you know, it's coming from the UK which renders it pointless for you. Switch engines before you go broke.
in retrospect, i don't know about using ppc for zip offers either unless you're getting dirt cheap clicks. zip/email offers, for me, tend to work best with freeloader traffic and such since it's more or less incentivized
those sort of cpa offers worked really well with myspace traffic
Zips do well on Craigs Taffic too. You can write an ad like, Nintendo is giving away the New Wii system to certain parts of the country. Click here and enter your zip code to see if youre eligible.
Craigs will flag your ad within the hour but hopefully its written well enough to make you enough money for the time spent writting it.

hm. try doing it with a redirect?I just tried the craigs with one of mine and got this:
WTF?
It is my subdomain that has the offer framed in it. This domain has never been on craigs.

Well I basically had: if you are buying or selling a house, go here to get a free online appraisal.
The url was using the <a href=blah blah blah
I posted in the real estate for sale section.
Just tried it again with a different domain and the same thing happened.
That is one way, but you can also send ppc traffic to your landing page or directly to the merchant.
N/M misread your post. Yeah, that basically sums it up. Although for me it has been a lot easier said then done.
