zip only offers?

I was going to ask a question like this too. How do you pick what keywords? This shit confuses me for some reason. I'm running a zip only on 7search and it hasn't converted for shit. I haven't tried pushing it on the 1st tier because they pay so low.

I would imagine just like anything you would write exactly what you're offering. Write about what the offer is, how easy it is to participate, and what they get out of it.

Or just straight up write about what they get out of it. :)

That's just plain silly.. zips are for US traffic, 7search doesn't geo-target. You could be paying for traffic and for all you know, it's coming from the UK which renders it pointless for you. Switch engines before you go broke.

in retrospect, i don't know about using ppc for zip offers either unless you're getting dirt cheap clicks. zip/email offers, for me, tend to work best with freeloader traffic and such since it's more or less incentivized

those sort of cpa offers worked really well with myspace traffic

Damn, I was thinking I would get that reply. I haven't spent a whole lot on it $15 or so. Thanks Jon.

What do you mean by "freeloader traffic"?

Zips do well on Craigs Taffic too. You can write an ad like, Nintendo is giving away the New Wii system to certain parts of the country. Click here and enter your zip code to see if youre eligible.

Craigs will flag your ad within the hour but hopefully its written well enough to make you enough money for the time spent writting it.

I just tried the craigs with one of mine and got this:

This posting is being blocked: Blocking Code 13208077

Common reasons include:
  • Essentially the same item has been posted to multiple cities or categories, or more than once in 48 hours
  • Post contains a link or URL to a commercial website or auction
  • Personal ad appears to contain a phone #, email address, or URL

WTF?

It is my subdomain that has the offer framed in it. This domain has never been on craigs.

Can you post your ad here? You should mask the link with a <a href=" also what section are you posting in? SOme sections you cant post links in like the personals area. You can post links in the For Sales Section.

Also Adbrite sucks for zip offers, i tested a few and lost a lot. They do well with ringtones but everyone knows that so the margins youll make will be very slim.

Well I basically had: if you are buying or selling a house, go here to get a free online appraisal.

The url was using the <a href=blah blah blah

I posted in the real estate for sale section.

Just tried it again with a different domain and the same thing happened.

The real estate section might not accept links. Post the same ad without the link and see if it allows it. At least then youll know its the link thats being blocked.

I'm pretty new to this whole affiliate campaign thing....but the basic concept is to make a site, put the offer/campaign on it and then make a good copywrite to bring traffic to your site so people can complete the offer, then you make money.....

those the pretty much sums it up?

That is one way, but you can also send ppc traffic to your landing page or directly to the merchant.

N/M misread your post. Yeah, that basically sums it up. Although for me it has been a lot easier said then done.
