Oh give me a fucking break. The Patriots are the team of the decade because they are the best run organization in the league hands down. They coach well, draft well, and manage their cap well. It's not because they stole defensive signals.
Guess what, every team in the fucking NFL steals defensive signals! And every team is aware of it so they change up their signals every game! That is not against the rules.
The Patriots just videotaped it (along with many other teams) so Goodell sent out a memo in 2007 to clarify it was against the rules and Belichick ignored it to his own peril. Goodell himself admitted the competive advantage gained from doing it was minimal but they broke a rule so they were punished.
If you think that is the reason for the Patriots and Brady's success then please explain why in 2007 and this year, the Patriots had (are having) the two greatest offensive seasons in NFL history without the amazing and magical benefit of having the tape of the signals? After all that is the reason for their success right? Brady was MVP in 2007 throwing 50 TD's and is the front runner for MVP this year. But yea, your right, he is only good because of Spygate.
Why don't we talk about the Broncos teams with Elway won their championships by cheating the salary cap? Why do we sweep that "travesty under the rug". What about Don Shula and the 72 Dolphins teams? They were "convicted" of tampering and charged a 1st rounder. Or perhaps the Steelers teams from the 70's that were taking steroids like candy? They all broke the rules so they must be nothing but a bunch of no good cheaters.
Get over it man. After the Patriots win 2 more SB's you will probably still be bitching about it.
The patriots are nasty in Madden too. Their corners could get better, but the offense is not even funny. Them and the eagles its just unfair to play with.

Under no circumstances do I want the Eagles to get to the big game, but it might happen. That will largely depend on whether they stay healthy or not. I don't have the stats, but quite a few of their big names have suffered concussions or other injuries during the season.
The Pats and Steelers O-line do a great job giving Big Ben and Brady a lot of time to throw up some big numbers. The Eagles O-line is comparatively shit, but Vick is the best scrambler I think the NFL has seen in a long time.

Did you honestly say the Steelers O-Line gives Big Ben a lot of time? As a Steelers fan I admit that the offensive live is terrible and the only reason big ben throws up huge numbers is because he has the ability to escape and scramble.
I think with the O-line getting healthy and the defense playing extremely well that the AFC championship will be played by the Pats-Steelers. I think the game would be a little more competitive.
This is not a pissing contest between O-Lines, but yeah, the Steelers have a MUCH better one than, say, anybody in the NFC East for example.
But we can agree that if the O-Line shapes up (and Big Ben continues to drink motoroil for breakfast or whatever he's doing) they'll go really, really far.

I think it'll definitely be a fat zero, Flynn's a rookie starting against a vastly improved Pats defense, the Packers D will try to keep them in it, but ultimately collapse. Pats win, guaranteed.
