My sleep schedule is so messed up

i go to school everyday.. ive been going to sleep at 6-7am every night. cant go to sleep no matter what. im not even kidding when i say i believe i will die if i keep this up any longer. really need something to change. can anyone recommend melatonin?

Mine is pretty messsed up. I stay awake for 18 hours, then sleep for 9 hours. So everyday I wake up ~3 hours later than the day before.

Today I woke up at 4pm, yesterday I woke up at noon, the day before I woke up at 9am, etc.

It's messed up, but it's awesome. I'm awake until I'm tired, and then I sleep until I'm not tired.

Sounds like me, but I regulate myself after awhile and get back to 8am for a week, then the cycle starts again.

For example, 4 days ago, I slept 4 hours. Up at 8am... do that for a few days and your body will be begging for sleep by 1am. haha

One way I get myself out of shitty sleeping cycles is if i go to bed at 5am and wake up around 2pm I will just stay up as long as I can. The next day I will force myself to stay up till like 7am, then 10am, then 1pm, until basically I get to my desired time I want to be in bed and then boom im back on schedule. And it works like clock work because ill get up at like 6 am and feel tired and hit the sack like at 10-11pm.

Definitely makes you feel better and more productive when your waking up and working when the rest of the world is.

Only downside i've found is when you wanna go out to party. Your gonna feel really tired by the time the party gets started. Then you have to start drinking coffee or redbulls and next thing you know you fucked up your schedule again lol

I just can't sleep and feel exhausted in the morning when I wake up. I just want to go back to sleep but I feel like a bum if I sleep for 12 hours.

What I usually do is every day I go to sleep a little later. Eventually it is so late that I'm sleeping during the day and awake at night. And then I just keep staying up later each night until it is daytime when I'm awake.

I try to stay on a daytime schedule as much as possible, but about a week or two every two months I'm sleeping during the day and awake during the night.

A few months ago a friend of mine, who is an up-and-coming nature photographer, decided to spend a day and night alone in the woods outside of our town. She wanted to get photos of the woods and wildlife as naturally as she could for her portfolio.

She wasn’t afraid of being alone, as she had camped by herself many times before. She set up a tent in the middle of a small clearing and spent the day taking pictures. She filled up four rolls of film on that trip, but when she went and got them developed she saw four pictures that unsettled her, these four pictures were taken from inside the tent, of her, asleep in the middle of the night.

That's what my shit has been like since around 2007. I'd stay up late working until I would hallucinate and whatnot. It's unhealthy. Feels like the world passes you by.

Try Uberman's sleep schedule.. You can be awake for 22 hours every day... lol..

Anyone ever get in this rut? Stay up until like 7AM working, crash, sleep until 2PM or whatever time. All screwed up. I need a sleeping pill rebill.

this is exactly what I was doing nonstop for years.

couldnt deal with it anymore. Just went one day without any sleep and at 10pm i was dead. Then started the normal circle again, but is is hard. Specially if you supplement yourself with energy drinks on and off at all times of the day.

That's the weird thing, I've cut caffeine out of my life almost completely, so I have no idea why I'm thrown so far off.

wtf?

My sleep schedule isn't all that bad because I'm not able to stay up much later than around 2 am lol.
