Iphone or Blackberry for business?!

I have a BB torch... Not a great phone. Browsing is worse than my iPhone 3g I got years ago, e-mail is no different than the iPhone now, no apps, etc.

Only pluses are BBM and the battery life is a solid day or so (not sure if that's comparable to the iPhone 4 or not).

I hear BBM is coming to iPhone soon, that would be awesome! As for touchscreen BB - I would not even go nearby.

Email options are very limited on the iPhone. When I switched from the BB to an iPhone, that is the only thing I did not like and still do not like. They really need to redo their email on the iphone. No mass delete, no marked as read is pretty shitty when you get a lot of emails on your phone.

One thing I like about iPhone email is support for folders on Gmail and Ymail, maybe others as well. I have an iPod (still iOS) and can easily drop emails to folders to get organised. No way to do that on my BB.

Also, BB limits the number of emails to 10. If you manage a lot of sites and have over 10 contact@ some domain, the iPhone doesn't have a limit on how many you can add, but the battery will take a hit. Not sure about Android devices.

To the people saying get bbm for typing, do you guys really type that many emails while you're away from the computer? It's not like you're fortune 500 execs who have their entire day filled up with meetings, you're at your computer most of the time.

I used to think keyboard was everything, coming from a treo (oldschool fuck yeah), but it's honestly a waste of real estate better used for viewing whatever you're viewing. Think: web browsing.

You have no idea what it can be to be a corporate consultant....

PS: Can't speak of others obs.
