I read about this in Entrepreneur Magazine. I'm always late waking up in the morning because I'm too tired and turn my alarm off and go back to bed. There is a watch called the SleepTracker where you designate a certain time frame and it monitors your body signals and will wake you up at the point you will be least tired!

You can visit the SleepTracker site, or...
I made a post about it on my blog you're more than welcome to read (and Digg). And if you buy it and use it and it works wonders than you REALLY owe me.

Just figure out how long your sleep cycles are, and time accordingly. An adult male has sleeping cycles of around 45 minutes. Wake up in the middle and you'll feel disorientated, wake up at the end you'll feel refreshed.

Do all that math every night? Plus you don't actually know what time you FALL ASLEEP.... only when you lay down.... and for me it varies depending on how my day has been, what I'm thinking about, etc...

I'd rather use my old method I mention when I really need to wake up... dump a cup of water on my head when the alarm goes off!

actually if you need to wake up really early, just drink 3 cups of water before you go to sleep. some army guy told me that a while ago.

Try my method, use no alarm clock, and get out of bed whenever the hell you feel like it.

I usually have a beer at the end of every night. You wake up fresh as a daisy.

Warning: it's best to stop after the 5th beer. don't be a hero :P

Works great, because you will be up a lot to pee during the night, so by the time you have to wake up youve allready been up a few times before so its like oh im up !

You can leave the blinds open - nothing gets you up better than sunlight...

Sleep cycles are key - I can get 3 hours of sleep and be fine the next day, but if I get 4 or 5 I am a zombie. I try to get 6 - it works out better than only getting 3 (I did that for a year commuting, and I was a walking zombie at times) - and fits in my cycle.

The sleep cycle thing makes sense..

I was used to getting 6 hours of sleep and be energetic, etc. My girlfriend sleeps for like 9 - 11 every night, lately ive been getting into that trend and I always wake up feeling tired and shitty.
