Any tips for this? I've been procrastinating on YouTube for the past week or so... been feeling tired/groggy lately even though I've been sleeping in.

Excercise. It sounds stupid, but run for like an hour or do some light lifting and it'll remind you what being motivated and inspiried to do something actually feels like rather than just sitting on your fat ass.

Yep. Exercise. And eat properly. No more big macs for you! Only salads!

That, and don't sleep in. Immediately upon opening your eyes in the morning, jump out of bed, and into the shower. Don't allow yourself to lay there, and relax for another 30 mins. Makes the day much easier.

Large amounts of caffeine help me. Try 5 double espressos. That oughtta do it.
(If you survive.)

But you also have to have Exciting Goals.

If your goal is to "make $100 more" than last month, just stay in bed... Set yourself a goal that gets your blood pumping, but is still achievable.

Grab your laptop and gtfo the house. Go to a public/college library with wifi. Don't sign on to any messengers. If the urge to do anything unproductive comes up, simply rest your head on the table and nap it out till it goes away.

I'm going to sound like a meathead, but do squats.
There is simply no other exercise, and certainly no machine, that produces the level of central nervous system activity, improved balance and coordination, skeletal loading and bone density, muscular stimulation and growth, connective tissue stress and strength, psychological demand and toughness, and overall systemic conditioning as the correctly performed full squat.
It will cure cancer, insomnia, obesity and all sorts of other shit. You experience a whole new level of "alive" when you simultaneously use 60% of your body's musculature (most likely more) at max power.

His book Starting Strength gets pretty in-depth (20 pages at least) about the squat, and he covers other compound strengthening exercises like the deadlift. You won't feel lazy after doing those.

Excercise and Especially running WILL boost your energy levels. Give it a try for at least a couple weeks. You will feel the difference.
Oh and working in coffeeshops helps too. You don't want people watching you dicking around on the internet.

Socialize daily. I have no idea if you do, but for me, that accounted for a huge percentage of my chronic depression.

I tend to fall into that groove myself at times... and like others mentioned, exercise and caffeine is key, at least for me. If i go just one week without exercise (either lifting or running - doesn't matter much) my energy levels goes down by alot. Enough to take notice, at least.

Also, on top of salads and other veggies, eat fish like tuna, salmon and mackerel. And yeah lots of coffee

just bought a case of this at Sam's Club for $24. $1/unit

Same exact active ingredients as 5 Hour Energy which usually cost ~$3 each.

If you need caffeine or energy drinks to get motivated or make it through the day you are miserably failing at life. I seriously suggest you figure out the problem and fix it.

OP didn't mention anything about not being motivated. He said he was tired & groggy.

Yeah I'm not too thrilled by the idea. I've been doing more exercising and cut out soda and a lot of junk from my diet and it's happened less often but it still happens and it pisses me off. I'm making progress though.
