No cabs will service unless you goto a main road (have fun cause traffic is moving at 50mph if they follow the speed limit and in Vegas going 30 over is too slow)
I am dead serious, I would like to show you and see if you think during your drug days that you would of step foot and went up to buy product.
We can even ride in a bullet proof SUV as there are a few companies that do daily rentals, thats if you feel you would need that.
I lived in Detroit for about 25 years. Was born in St.Johns on 7mile and lived off of Moross on the Eastside (DENBY HIGHSCHOOL)
And I never thought I would see more hood then detroit, until I came across east las vegas and it's surrounding citys, cause if you did not know Vegas has a few city's sitting in the middle of Vegas, like Paradise, I can tell you one thing, you will not be living in Paradise if you move to that area.
Do you know how easy it is for a illegal alien who is selling drugs to just say I am snatching that white boy up. Then they hog tie you, drive 45min to a part of Nevada that people only fly over, and you are dumped. To only be a missing person. And maybe in a few decades they might find your bones, but to who found them it's just bones in a desert, and that is if the animals did not tear your body apart and eat EVERY LITTLE PIECE.
I would rather and will be in a year living in Detroit (Palmer Woods) and would rather walk from where I will live in Detroit south towards 7mile and woodward and shave my head and wear a I HATE LAZY DETROIT NIG%$(@*# , then to ever live or hang out in any of the getto areas of las vegas.
But I thought people were full of crap, vegas can't be that bad you would hear about it. Heck detroit is around 190sqmiles (maybe more just going off the top of my head) with over 100,000 homes and buildings that have been sitting to rot for a few decades, some even more. If you ever been out of the USA and into a 3rd world country you would see less of a mess then Detroit.
And to anyone who will say I buy and flip houses in Detroit for $100, YOU ARE FULL OF IT.
And any Realtor in the state of Michigan will tell you that all the cheap Detroit homes are cheap because they have leins and fines. So that brings your total up to around $10,000 then you have to close. Now what are you going to do sell it? No way, all the comparable sales in the area will be the stated price which is the price before liens and fines, so if every house around your cheap house sold for $300, you will be luck to see $100 back. So then you decide to rent it. Hah, Detroiters love rentals, because it can take up to 60+ days to evict. So that can be even more money loss. Plus the only way to rent is to get Section 8 approved. You do not have to, but if you don't you will watch all the other rentals who are Section 8 get rented up. This is because the majority of people in Detroit are generations deep into lifes where every generation has not had to work, the govt pays, so any of your prospect tennants will be oh so fun. And then if you don't live in the state you leave yourself open to more crap.
Ok I went a little off, I guess too many people all over the net keep making lies saying I got a Detroit house for $1.. One person here called Section 8 Section A... HAHAHAA.... Yet none of these people talk about the reailty. Oh and I left out that any vacant home that is for sale in Detroit most likely has no pipes or anything that contained a metal that can be sold for money.
But even with me going off, I do not think you have really been to any bad part of vegas. If you used a cab they would NEVER take you, so you would not these areas are even there.
The city's here do their best to keep the hoods not seen by the people who come on vacation.
But then you have those people on vacation and decide to do their own sight seeing, only to end up on a 1way block that your GPS says goes thru (a lot of unfinished roads in vegas are listed on GPS units which is funny because the road will just stop) and these people get hurt because they decided to get out of the car to take a photo cause they liked how the mountain looked, not knowing they just left the safety of the strip (cops on the strip if you don't know since 2008 when Dennis Nolan (old senator) got the strip police to become a separate unit of the Metro Police but to answer to Homeland Security. So people who come and get drunk and think it will be funny to yell at a cop on the strip have no clue they are messing with a cop who can write them up on federal law violations.
So at ASW, let me show you the hood. Rent a car and you can follow me. You can have your GPS and any tracking software on in case you feel scared. Then when we get to the one area we will stop our cars and get out. It would be best if you could speak Spanish as if you don't they will think you are five-o. Then we can sit with them for 30min and you can watch how the hidden end of vegas works. Worse then any hood I have ever been in. Heck New Orleanes would be safer after Katrina then here. Just remember, no business services this area for nothing. There are NO check cashing places in 1 mile, no banks in 1 mile, like I said I will take you to a part of vegas that you will never hear about, or see, or even get to if you did not take your own car because no cabby is allowed. And the cabbies are not allowed per Transit Authority, which is the cops for the taxis cause the taxis are so insane out here they have their own cops. And they do not allow any company with a valid business license who does any type of transportation (limos, towncars, taxis) in these few areas.
