It's possible, but I wouldn't want this guy up my ass.
I see what you did. TURBO LIKES ANAL!
It's possible, but I wouldn't want this guy up my ass.
He's 100% wrong.
There's a reason the super-rich tend to support social programs. They see them as ways to subdue the poor into not rioting against them a la Egypt. They see a higher tax as a small price to pay for civil stability and status quo that maintains their position at the top.
I like your usual posts but this is bullshit.
Poor people rioting against the rich is a relic of class warfare thinking. Nobody is rioting against the rich. Nobody is close to rioting against the rich.
The rioters in London were claiming everything was the fault of the rich, dude. They're morons, but that was the claim.

If people started rioting, nigga would more than likely survive with his health and wealth intact regardless.
It's more likely that his real intentions are human. Like us, he wants the US to pull back from the edge of the cliff it's at. Like us, he doesn't want to see China take over the US.
I'm not a Warren B fanboy. I've just thought things through. Put yourself in the shoes of a poor person and ask yourself what would motivate you to start rioting against the mega-rich.
For the record, I also agree with Warren B.
I'd like to raise taxes on the super rich. They aren't creating as many jobs as I expected given their 15% tax rate.
Also cut entitlements. Or let them be run by for-profits.
One thing I don't understand though is the perpetual resistance to raising taxes. I get it: taxes = no fun, government = shitheads. But we're at a place where we might have to default on this thing further down the road if we don't find a way to pay it off.
If ten, twenty years down the road we nosedive, or feeling the financial aftershocks like Japan did in the 90s or the Latin Americans did in the 80s, or witness the rise of China we'd wish we could go back in time and raise taxes to help cover our asses down the road.
We're already past the point of no return if we think simply cutting entitlements is going to fix everything.
i swear to god, every one of you who think that we have a comfy entitlement rich society have never actually been to a comfy entitlement rich society. For a nation of our wealth, we have absolutely the bare minimum. Germany's economy is proof that you can have a ridiculously strong safety net and still lead in economic growth.
That said, we do SPEND a fuck load on entitlements, like double what other countries do on per capita healthcare, we just don't get the same results they do because our whole system is corrupt. People in the US who have employer based healthcare don't see the money that their employer is currently NOT paying them because instead the employer is paying jacked up insurance rates covering jacked up medical costs and the employee is supporting all of it without realizing it. Meanwhile the employee is grateful they have that insurance because otherwise they would go bankrupt. How fucked up is this shit?
We don't have real capitalism in the US. We have corporatism. We have the worst of the problems with socialism and none of its benefits. We have a terrible terrible mix of private / public shit like freddy / fannie and our whole banking system. It doesn't work at all. Either use the market, or use government, but stuff with these frankenstein combinations results in the worst of both approaches.
There are no benefits to socialism, because it is an irrational system.
Taxes are theft and a wealth transfer, nothing less.
Anything people need, and that they have the means to fund, they can and would. Charities cared for the poor long before welfare. Roads were built long before highway commissions. Schools existed before public education. Military and militias were raised when the times demanded it.
Then Explain Germany. They've got their shit together over there and it works.... FAR FAR FAR better than it does here.
There are no benefits to socialism, because it is an irrational system.
Also, the two guys who agreed Warren Buffet is more intelligent than everyone at Wickedfire are wrong. Warren Buffet is just more intelligent than them.
Non sequitur. Then Explain Germany. They've got their shit together over there and it works.... FAR FAR FAR better than it does here.
I believe government is unnecessary for sane and rational people. If you truly believe that, then you must also believe government shouldn't exist whatsoever, and we should all live in anarchy.
Yeah... anarchy... then the internet monies would flow.
Fuck me...
I don't. And it isn't.And yet we have a socialist defense provided by the state, and its probably something you think is necessary.
Nah, just pointing out bullshit. Seriously bro, I like you. You just make really, really bad arguments in these threads. You attack what others write without ever articulating a coherent or logical theory of your own.aren't you cute.
I am TRYING to encourage you to do so, because when you do, I think you could be a very useful person in these discussions, scoring points for liberty, freedom, peace and prosperity.
