Pacquiao vs. Marquez. Tonite?



So stoked Pacquiao won (Filipino pride), but I was not expecting that victory in the end.
 
Big winner tonight: Mayweather

  • Marquez, has gone to hell and back with Pacquiao 3 times now, and arguably has a case to winning all 3 fights in some people's eyes. Out of the three, this was his strongest case for a W. Meanwhile, Mayweather made Marquez look like a club fighter.
  • Manny "won", so it doesn't officially spoil the giant $$$ fight between Pacman and Money Mayweather. Manny losing to a guy Mayweather whooped won't exactly capture the hearts of millions around the world.
  • Manny showed some holes tonight.

I still have Floyd beating Manny. Hopefully this fight gets made sooner or later.

Your opinion on the Pac v Floyd fight doesnt mean shit 'cos Mayweather is a pussy who will do anything to NOT fight pacman.
 
I personally don't give a shit who would win in a fight against Mayweather and Pacman. Sure, it'll settle who's better than the other, but if you look at the stats up to this point and time, Pacman has a much more impressive career if you look at his matchups, his wins in 8 different weight classes, the fact that he's 2 years younger and has fought 17 more professional matches.

Mayweather has that untarnished "0" in his loss column, but that still doesn't negate the fact that Pacman has simply done more and achieved more in the sport imo.

edit: Yes, I am biased. I can't stand Mayweather in and out of the ring.

You don't gotta be a Pacfan to know that Mayweather's big zero has a lot to do with picking and choosing who he fights. It's meaningless.

I've never heard Manny refuse to fight anyone.

But shit, Manny looked bad in this fight. He was literally too scared to punch.

lol wat I don't give a fuck about Ricky Hatton the cokehead, I like boxing and I couldn't give two shits about the nationality of a fighter. Pacman fucked up Hatton too, and Pacman ftw, although he seemed a bit off against Marquez.
 
Money May is one of the most impressive tacticians in the history of the sport...when he first started out...he couldnt pick and choose his fights...but yet he was still victorious...now he knows when he fights a dude...he's doing him a favor by giving them one of the largest paydays they would ever have...also he doesnt even give a fuck about the belts...he's just doing him.

there is no way anyone who really watches Floyd could think Manny would beat him...lets just say Manny didnt show chinks in his armor last night and was the normal brilliant, punching machine he has been for the past couple years...that shit wouldnt work with Floyd because he is the best defensive boxer in the game and when shit gets crazy and his opponent poses a reasonable threat (like with the speed of Zab and Sugar Shane or the grab and hold style of Ricky Hatton)...he shuts everything down and box by the numbers...he will stop throwing crazy combos...he will not get off balance...he will roll, dip and slip punches...he will keep the stick in his opponents face to keep them at his respectfully long arms distance...and most importantly...he will counter punch the shit out of them and win the rounds.

Pac Man is not really in his league...he's just a good fighter...but different!
 
Mayweather is an arrogant prick and I'd love to see him get his ass stomped, but he'll rape pacman. I can't wait for the day they fight, but I'll be putting my money on Mayweather.
