If people want to confuse that love for hatred, fine. But yeah; agreed 10000% on how they have "niche marketing" (if thats what you want to call it; I call it reverse racism); or how they can make jokes, have holidays, have days, have shows, etc (I could go on). Dresden, at the end of the day, racial identity, national identity, cultural identity, sexual identity, religion etc are all just masks we wear to interface with reality and the world around us.
If you're feeling left out because "your" race is not respected, or that "your" race is not treated fairly, it may be a sign that you don't have a very well developed sense of individual identity.
You don't need a tribe to have value, and your tribe's value to you is completely subjective, and I would argue, quite arbitrary (people can't control what race they are, where they are born, their parent's religion etc).

This has nothing to do with "individual identity", but in fact reversed oppression against a set of people. It's been made clear that other sets of "people" can have shows, months, holidays and even be famous for it (example; chris rock, etc. etc.) but given one of us do it, we're nazis. The only time race/culture is an issue is when one group decides to push their values on another, which nearly everyone is guilty of.

I feel the same as OP.. there is obvious reverse racism in this country, I'd be a fool to not notice it. And it's being used to manipulate and separate people.. that's what bothers me.. I'm not feeling "left out" because I feel as if my race is being "treated unfairly".. I feel I am at no disadvantage in life, quite the opposite actually.
