Judge Orders Site De-Indexed



So an American judge has power over the whole internet?

I wonder if the flood gates will open and other big companies will follow suit, and if judges in other countries will have any jurisdiction.
 
Next up: I go to law school and become a judge and then declare facebook.com and google.com be re-directed to my splog because they are unconstitutional.
 
I sure hope its overturned. US has history of just doing wtf ever it wants. Just look at online gambling.
 
Someone should launch a specialist counterfeit goods search engine based in Russia.

These cases make me lol. All that stuff is overpriced crap anyway. I bet the counterfeits are the same quality. Now they're just getting butthurt because they tried to save money by cutting US/EU jobs, and the Chinese factories they outsourced to decided to do a little extra-curricular production. Boo fucking hoo.

They're no where near the same quality.
 
Lots of "fakes" here in Thailand. Funny thing is many aren't fake at all. They are the same products from the same factory, just unauthorized production that the factories sell out the back door to the gray market to boost their income. Brands try to crack down on it, there's a bust once in a while of somebody selling "counterfeit" goods online.

I guess you got a point. I was thinking more high end items that aren't really sold in department stores. Lower end designer stuff like coach, polo, etc I agree with you.
 
It's all from china anyway. All of it.

I'm getting sick of the whole patent system now, it's just a way for more lawsuits to happen, and doesn't protect anyone anymore.
 
I had a cousin or some relation who sold that crap. She made a lot of money then they took it all and her house.
