I was talking about people having content farms for generic SEO terms like 'SEO' 'SEO company' that could easily be used to rank for something like 'Whitehat SEO'.
 
Noone is going to out private link sources to rank for seo keywords and bring all the attention that comes with it.

Am probably being ignorant here, but why is ranking for Mitt Romney "doing something good"? You have to consider that non-Americans don't want to interfere in American politics (plus to non-Americans Mormans seem seriously nutty - isn't their religion based on some science fiction magazine and don't they have multiple wives? - nothing personal, this is just culturally yuk to people across the pond, so we'd be "interfering" by ranking for his name and then saying mean things about him). Best stay away from politics

Also agree people should not try to rank for seo terms - it just means all those who are currently ranking for those terms will pore over your methods and probably try to shop your networks to G.

Best option is to try to rank for a physical product - say a new product that is due to be launched in a month's time, there must be some new android that is due to be released soon. Or some other product. Then whoever wins has the potential to make some real money out of it.
 
I'd love to rank for something anti-scientology. If we can't all agree on politics we can surely agree on that.

I am not sure if a single person on WF would want Romney for president. I am not even American...

So even while people might not agree on politics, most people will be against Romney.

But hey, just an idea...
 
I'll participate- this can get interesting.

I like the whole WSO idea up there^ that could be some serious lols in the making if it's handled correctly. Quite profitable too, those retards will buy anything if you write it in red.

All I can say is regardless of the keyword, this is going to be fucking exciting and a HUGE HUGE learning experience for all of us (both gurus and beginners alike)... Since all of us will probably be using different techniques.

I would almost create a private forum for participants only, since this is going to be priceless knowledge that we don't want to share with the DP'ers, WarriorForumers and the likes.
