Not to be idealistic or anything but:

Don't you think it's more of a punishment that the government spends trillions of dollars fighting an endless war only to benefic arms manufacturers and a small portion of the population?

Don't you think it's more of a punishment that every year your taxes go up and oppressive laws like SOPA are passed in congress that limit your liberties?

And don't you feel that it's more of a punishment that your father can work his entire life or a company only for them to "downsize" right before his retirement, making him lose EVERYTHING.

Compared to the amount of money spent on affirmative action programs, what the government does to regular white americans could basically be compared to slavery.

To answer your other question, yes I agree most of my experiences are subjective. I'm 50/50 and I got a lot of shit about being mixed growing up with all blacks but it was way worse when I hung out with white people. I can't speak for other areas in the country but from what I've noticed most jails are populated by minorities in places where their population is under even 5%! Just sayin' man.

I was middle class, average white growing up and I got bypassed for jobs and free college money while several of my minority friends walked right into the same jobs and higher education and then dropped out/quit weeks later only for the same position to be filled again by another minority while I was waiting to get into school or get a job. To me, that is a punishment. I had one employer tell me it was because of affirmative action too why they couldn't hire another white person.

Even today at one of my ecom partnerships, for our company to be eligible for some government contracts we had to hire more minorities on staff to balance things out. We didn't hire non minorities for any special reason before, but we are a high end tech company and honestly there just was only white people applying for these jobs in web design and marketing.

However, we had to hire some unqualified minorities to fill positions that qualified white people could have had, just to get some of these contracts.

Also, on the crime thing.. IDK. But I think its true that whites go to jail all the time ( see my example above ). Also, do you think you know more blacks that go to jail because you typically know more blacks? Im just being honest here, but in our "poor" area of town it is typically 90% black population. If you grew up there, you would prob know 9 black people for every 1 white person you know. In that situation, wouldn't it make more sense you know more black people in jail then whites as you would prob. know more blacks then any other demographic if you lived in that area?

Regardless, that's a small point and you're absolutely right that the judicial system is totally bigoted ... besides, these are non-violent crimes. Jury nullification people, serve and protect.

Only takes 1 out of 12. Jury nullification could be quite a powerful movement in the United States if enough people were aware. It should be required that jurors be made aware that if they don't believe that something is a crime that they aren't required to convict someone whether they did it or not. Could you even imagine what a swift kick to the nuts of the justice system this could be? Best part is it doesn't take a majority of the country to make a difference. Every single person would be making a difference.

I def agree on your points, but the topic isn't on those programs or topics but they are just as bad, yes. I have thoughts on them as well, but no one is bringing those up until now. I'm just saying, those are wrong just like AA is wrong.

My experience has mainly been as a white person, but my very first GF was a black woman. I lived with her family and lived in the bad part of town with her for a while. I experienced more racism from black men then I did from white men/women and black women then I ever had in my life during that time ust because I dated her and was with her. I did get racism from whites too sometimes, but it was daily from black men. Once we stopped dating the racism magically vanished from the same black men.

As a matter of fact, if I walk down those streets today no one looks or bothers me. However, if I was walking with her I would have all kinds of sneers and looks and BS from black men. SO I can understand what you got from being 50/50 as I seen that as well with people I hung out with back then and the thoughts of if I ever had a mixed child.
 
Not a troll brotha, I'm 30 years old, got a girlfriend and a 6 year old pit bull that I love to death (who has sent me to the hospital 3 times since I got him). I'm an affiliate marketer, nice to meet you :).

Well, props for you crossing the racial line it's definitely tough. Yes, to be quite frank a lot of blacks (ok most) are very, very racist. I know that from growing up around them, actually I got into fight all the time over that. It's only when I proved myself so to speak that they realized I did not tolerate any of their shit.

In a utopia it wouldn't matter who you love but I guess we have to realize America was founded on racism and exploiting people that were more unfortunate than yourself. Who knows how long it will take to change. Sorry to hear about that.

Nah, I don't think so at all. I believe racism is taught not a human trait. I used to work with kindergarten urban kids a few years ago and they had absolutely no concept on race.

I asked one little guy who had a bunch of black friends if he ever felt different from them and you know what the told me? "yeah my hair is straight" haha. I only hope he grows up to know racial differences but not to be judgmental.

Either via their friends or via life experiences. I've had more than enough bad experiences with blacks to where I just avoid them at all costs. Business, personal, whatever...I avoid if possible.

Americanized Mexicans and blacks? Avoid like the plague.

Doesn't mean all blacks are bad, but the ratio is bad enough to where it's better to just avoid.

These would be your anecdotal experiences in the places you have lived. If you ask people of any race in New York City for directions, you are generally going to be meant with a different type of attitude than if you asked people who looked similar in Vermont or Virginia.

Speaking of New York, Howard Stern went to a mostly black school and would get beat up there, but he doesn't subscribe to your line of thinking. His interactions with blacks after high school in places like college may have something to do with that.
