What Is The Deal With Siri?

I have no clue why Apple used Siri as their only marketing gimmick for the 4S. It probably has something to do with the fact that they have nothing else to offer. IMO, the iPhone is a pretty powerful device but Siri is definately not its core selling point.
The only thing I use it for is directions when Im driving and it works awesome you dont have to find the addresses and type them out. Everything else it does is to primitive.
Works great for me. You can tell Apple is still messing with the backend a lot because of the changes it's had since it's release. I find that it converts text to speech a lot better in the past month, but doesn't comprehend as well as it used to. I ask it more than a basic question and it just says "I don't understand". I works perfect for what I want it to do for the most part, and wasn't much of a selling point for me for the phone, so I'm completely happy.

I think you should take your commands as clearly and simple as it could so she can response. 
Siri were good though, it works for me. Almost helpful.
