Who wants to get rid of the new "like" thing?

I didn't even know this was put up... I haven't been checking WF very often.

I agree. Its ugly as shit.
 


Haven't been paying attention. Has anyone done a "dubstep rules!" post, gotten the likes and then edited the post to read "child pornography rules!", yet?
 
Considering a high % of comments are outstanding and probably generally liked, it just seems a bit unnecessary IMO.

Seeing as how you only have something like a 5 or 10 minute window in which to edit a post here it would have to be absolutely stellar to get enough likes in time to pull off such a thing.
 
The concept isn't terrible, there should be a dislike if there's a like though. Also it needs to be more integrated into the theme and less ugly.


Years ago on a forum I ran we had the "Thanks" feature and it would just show how many "Thanks/Likes" for the post. It was located at the bottom of the post under their signature, fitting perfectly in with the theme, not in an ugly box in the post.

I don't think the time limit exists anymore.
