Get another job. You're going to have to be a lucky motherfucker if you want to make rent money from affiliate marketing very quickly

Well i worked in bed factory and I got fired for taking 2 days off for sickness....im doomed...and i have a basic knowledge of internet marketing, please help. I got ebay account and signed up to a few forums but whats quickest way?

i feel like crying

Listen man, bad shit happens to everyone, it's just a bump in the road. If you're serious about internet marketing I would look at this as an opportunity. Why not find 2 jobs where you can work really long hours but still do your internet crap on the side?

How about:
  • library
  • substitute teaching (after summer)
  • assisted living facility
  • secretarial position anywhere
You need to find a job fast.. ANY job... goto starbucks if you have to. and while you're there, start plotting your next move, and your next move, and your next move. use this as motivation, get a job that pays your bills and start working relentlessly on your sites.

That sucks so bad, this is why I hate working for someone else. On top of the complete lack of security from being employed by someone, you have to hear all the usual bullshit of 'real' jobs being more secure than self employment, which is utter crap.

Like barman said, your not going to be making enough money to pay off your rent anytime soon, so you had better quickly get yourself another job. And after you come home from work, spend time learning and applying what you have learnt on the internet so you can make money. There are many ways, you just have to find your niche and get going. Good luck.

Edit: trigatch4 beat me to it

In March of this year, my business partner suddenly passed away. A month ago tomorrow, my mother passed away. Last week, I was told by the company I have been doing freelance work for 12 years told me that they're doing the work in-house now, so I'm basically fired.

I'm not sure which shoe will drop next. You're in good company.

It sucks to lose your job, if you aint got any savings built up, you're gonna have to find any job but start now focusing on your next move. The next move is the where you can get independence.

Also remember, it takes money to earn money.

learn and read about affiliate marketign, SEO, basic HTML as much as you can. go to unemployment office and get unemployment. I think they pay you for like 6 months. not much but it covers your basic bills. read and ask as much as you can. yo will be fine.

I found a new job last week. Escorting older gentleman to dance recitals is very profitable!

Get a McJob until you can support yourself enough to invest time and money in affiliate marketing. There is no such thing as quick money unless you know exactly what to do step by step.

Yeah, regardless of what you hear on TV Infomercials, there really aren't many ways to make a legitimate "quick buck" online. Even if you do know a way to make a lot of money quickly, most ad networks pay on a NET 30 or NET 15 - so you'd still have to wait several weeks to get paid.

Moral of the story is: hit up monster.com, craigslist, and your local paper's employment section. That, and ask all your friends and family if they know any jobs available.

Once you get yourself back on your feet - THEN start an internet business on the side. Dedicate an hour or two each day to your endeavor. If you get some good action, you can expand that hobby and eventually make it your 9-5.

Good luck.
