I appreciate your optimism, but how can you deny the possibility that this tech simply will be suppressed and misused in the US?

I agree with lukep in that the BRIC countries have far more to look forward to than those of us in merica.

Serious question: Is your optimism aimed towards all countries of the world evenly? Pretty sure little african kids could give a fuck less about the already amazing technological advances made in the last 20-30 years.

If i were to go back in time.. i think i might like to go back and see the conception
of matt cutts.

hard to go on...... but i will find a way....

More serious... if you were to go back during ww2.. some places would be ok.. others not so much.. like under bomber waves... or under a stalin organ attack.
 
If there is such a thing as "human nature" and violence is a part of it, then why are there

It's because violent behavior is learned and not inherited.
