RP Wins Louisiana Caucuses

Saw this yesterday. He continues to swipe state delegates all over the country. It's going to be close, but a brokered convention is looking more and more likely.

I was doing a google search and can't find any caucus results that shows RP winning.
When you search in google, it gives you a short this and when you got the washington post it shows RP with only 80 delegates. Any thoughts?
It even shows Santorum still the winner in Iowa

What other states did he win? Only ones confirmed are Louisiana and USVI that I know of.

All those claimed by Romney.

RP is Romney. What, you thought it was just goodwill that Romney actually let Paul and his wife use his jet earlier in the campaign? Nope. Like Obama, Romney is a fabrication, except one of RP's. It's going to be an epic troll at the convention when the lid is popped off of the hired actor after all these years.

How are these confirmations of him winning states? Just speculation, nothing official yet.

I can confirm the MN numbers. I helped elect some of them at my Congressional District Convention recently. I know many of the other elected National Delegates through the MN Ron Paul campaign headquarters and meetings.

We will be electing 13 more Ron Paul delegates at the state convention in a couple weeks.

<<< SIGH >>>

You weekday-only warriors really annoy me this time.

Over the weekend there were two great threads going on... One about RP winning the LA caucuses (Ironically still the same thread that the OP referred to as "talking about poor results for Ron Paul in Louisiana"- It haz been updated) - And the other one about Asteroid mining, and how we are doing it now.

But do they get any love come monday? Nooooooooo... Just like that blonde bimbo you picked up Saturday night while half drunk and kicked her ass out on Sunday morning....

Anyway, to sum up from the LA and other state wins from Saturday:

Ron Paul Louisiana Caucus results, please post here! | Peace . Gold . Liberty | Ron Paul 2012

1. The Paul Slate won majority votes in 4.5 of the 7 LA districts! (Don't ask me how a half disctrict can be won, but the delegates there say it is so.) Majority delegates always means that the state has been "won" as a state for the RNC.

So far, Paul has WON the following states that I know of:

Iowa
Missouri
Minnesota
Louisiana
Alaska

-Romney will never have these five states, 5 is enough to get a podium in Tampa, which could mean the whole ballgame.

2. The following states that have started their delegate voting process aren't done voting, but Paul is expected to win the majority of delegates here too:

Colorado
Nevada
Washington
Texas
(And possibly CA too!)

And the following states he had the VAST majority of voters, but GOP voting fraud has kept them away (locked doors, changed locations at the last minute, other evil tricks) from voting and there are investigations pending:

Maine
North Dakota
Arizona
Idaho

3. Add to these the fact that Paul came in 2nd for the number of delegates in just about Every other state so far, (almost TYING In North Carolina and Massachuesetts!) and it's easy to see that we've got a real chance here! We're talking about taking a HUGE chunk out of Romney's projected total. The MSM OUTRIGHT LIES now about the delegate count, there are many, many confirmed Paul delegates that they simply give to Romney.

4. Frothy and Gingrich may have said "go to romney" but the delegates are NOT going there. The LA and Massachusetts delegates Sweeps both prove that they are coming to Paul instead. Uber-christians simply WILL NOT vote mormon. They'd rather obomba win!

5. Here's the most telling 21 seconds you'll ever see of a state delegate convention:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNcDCaFFlw8]Wanna know what happens when a senator endorses Romney at the Alaska State Convention? [HD] - YouTube[/ame]

Note to all congressmen in a Paul-friendly convention: Endorse Romney at your Peril. You won't be missed when you're booed out of the building.

The confusion stems from several issues.

First, the election rules for every state are different so a lot of what appears to be conflicting information is simply the result of not knowing the state election rules.

Second, the RNC has a vested interest in their candidate winning the delegates needed for nomination so the "official" story is always going to be skewed towards whatever narrative they're pushing (ie Romney has this shit locked up).

Third, the mainstream media announces delegate totals based off of projections, that are based off of general vote totals. The problem lies in the fact that the general vote means nothing in many states, and the number of delegates that go to a candidate may not have any proportional relationship to the percentage of votes the candidate received in that state.

So if a state has 20 delegates, and Romney received 50% of the vote total, the media just says "Romney got 10 delegates". Of course, depending on the state election rules, he may only get 2 or 3 delegates if any. Or he could get them all. We won't know who got how many delegates until the delegates are chosen in increasingly convoluted delegate selection processes that differ from state to state and that are often done months later.

Of course, after a vote the public wants to know who won, so they have to tell us something. If they tried to actually explain the process to the general public we would get confused and demand a less complicated system.

So that's how we can find out that Romney won Iowa the day of the vote, then find out that Santorum won Iowa 6 weeks later, then finally find out that Ron Paul actually won Iowa because he got the majority of the delegates which is the only thing that actually matters for the convention where the nominee is officially selected.

Ron Paul is adopting what's called the Warren Harding strategy, which hasn't been tried since Harding got elected a long fucking time ago. It consists of going after delegates rather than popular vote, since the delegates are the ones that actually control the nomination at the convention. The strategy was used by Warren Harding to secure the nomination despite having very little support in the primary voting. It actually worked and he went on to become President.

I'm not sure if that explains it very well, because I'm far from an expert on it, but that's what I've been able to piece together from what I've read.

Awesome Summation, UG. Couldn't have explained it better.

I would go one further though and remind everyone that the Media's vested interests are plain as day. People like Cakes and Scococo here make us sound like we're running around shouting "it's all a big conspiracy" but when the conspiratorial parts are clearly laid out and no one is denying them it destroys their argument totally.

Still, they're the media so no matter how many times we mention the truth; they're louder.

Can't wait for the media to admit this

Over the weekend in Mass., they chose most of the delegates to the RNC. Because it's one of Romney's 'home states' they are like the VIPs- all cameras will be on them when they cast their ballots, and by tradition, the schedule is set up so that their votes make Romney the nominee. They get the best hotel suites right next to the convention.

Romney had hand-picked people to run for this delegation- Former Lt. Governor, state senators, etc. Usually, they would just show up and get voted in, since they are local celebrities. But this time when the votes came in, most all of them got shut out, and now RP supporters are going instead.

Technically, they are still 'Romney delegates' while they are bound to vote for him, but this is happening everywhere. There's a lot of disinfo being spread around about what delegates can and can't do, and even Romney's people have no idea how many 'Romney delegates' are really his. When the vote time comes, some of them are going to fall in line because of peer pressure, but I think the main concern is that something like this doesn't play out on national TV:

Yes, Mr. Lukep I'm a weekday warrior.:music06:

Thank you for the clarification, I am encouraged RP will be able to do some more damage. I met with some of the republican delegates here and they tried explaining how everything works and my mind just about exploded. They told me they didn't think they would do great on the actual voting, but they were pushing for delegates hard and it appears they were successful.

It is annoying they don't report delegates based on actual pledges http://projects.wsj.com/campaign2012/delegates

I just registered as a precinct delegate, and I'm going to my county convention tomorrow. I live in a county with a large population so I doubt they'll need me but I'll donate a couple hours of my time just in case.

It's funny, when I went down to register with the clerk she was unaware that there was anything going on tomorrow. There's nothing in any of our newspapers or on TV indicating anything is going on tomorrow. The only reason I know is because the RP campaign has been sending out emails letting everyone know what is happening and when and where. Every county in Michigan is having their convention tomorrow and choosing state delegates, so it's kinda important but nobody seems to know about it.

When I mentioned how confusing the process was, the clerk said "Yeah I don't even know why the people voted in February since it doesn't decide anything". She didn't seem to understand the significance of that statement though.

I'll be so disappointed if Michigan goes to Romney... After he said "We should Let Detroit fail" (the place he was born!) you guys should have passed around a hat and sent a hitman after him! The only way Paul would lose that state is if it's being completely railroaded like ND was... Which I'd make a high priority to do so if I were Romney, so WATCH YO ASS.

It's weird because nobody looks at Romney like he is "one of us". There is nothing "Detroit" about Romney, he's as fake as you can get and Detroiters pride ourselves on being real motherfuckers. But Detroit, and all of southeastern Michigan for that matter, tends to vote democrat because of the corrupt ass unions. The western part of the state (Grand Rapids) and the northern part are very conservative, but the population center is near Detroit as are most of the delegates.

My only guess is the Republicans in the area have fallen for that same tired ass "Romney is the only guy that can beat Obama" bullshit that's been floated around for so long. But nobody around here actually likes Romney, so RP should be able to grab some delegates just because of the lack of interest by Romney supporters. At some point though, the Republican establishment is going to have to get boots on the ground and start grabbing these delegates or they're going to be in trouble in Tampa...
