For the sake of historical accuracy it should be noted that your statement is a. not logically sound and b. historically debatable.
I think you missed the point.
To me, Broham implied that the woman (who clearly didn't know what communism means,) was using that as her attack, in place of what she really thought, which could very well be "nigger".
Communism ... an interesting one ... it's a close cousin of Socialism, of which Winston Churchill said "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
Communism is cult-like, similar to Nazism. Cults sometimes lead to mass death and indeed the death toll of Communism is massive ... in the tens of millions (over 100 million according to one account.)
Marx wrote 'Das Kapital' in London around the late 1880s, looking around him and coming to the reasonable conclusion that the crappy world he lived in was going to implode sooner of later, which of course it did, and that there was a reason, a theory for that .. which history has so far proved that he got wrong (though history isn't over yet, whatever the book said).

Here's another useful idiot extolling the wonders of communism, saying it just wasn't implemented properly. And yet the entire point of communist doctrine was as a blueprint to deceive the citizenry, get them to hand over power voluntarily under the guise of "compassion", grind the middle class to death between taxation and inflation, establish a dictatorship, and ultimately secure absolute control, at which point you can murder them willy nilly. Also, the communist structure intentionally incentivizes the ascension of the most ruthless, psychotic specimens humanity has to offer, creating not only the perfect Murder Machine, but the perfect murderous Captain at its helm. For examples, take a look at any communist country.

Communism and Fascism have always been enemies, and economically speaking, the American economy is far more fascistic (and has been since FDR) than it has ever been Communistic.

Marxism is a philosophy. The various forms of Communism that have been tried are socioeconomic systems put forth that were in some way based partly on Marxist philosophy. They are alike in the way that a square and a rectangle are alike. If you use the terms interchangeably, you are wrong.
If you'll re-read The Communist Manifesto with that in mind it might make more sense to you.
