I admire how hard headed you are and your commitment to never admitting an error. I don't like dealing with it, but I do enjoy that you're so good at it.

That said, you've basically said nothing specific about Marxism or Communism. Why is that?

Because he was sponsored, because his personal history casts some level of doubt on how much he walked the walk, and because the ideas he codified were long in development before he endeavored to publish them.

That said I would argue he was indeed a communist - the real him, not the him that is tied to the ideas set forth in his published works. Just pointing out that historians have made cases for disconnects between his work and his life.

I can see that, but I would just say that no human perfectly represents his ideology. Most ideologies are studies in contradiction anyway.

The one nice thing about Abrahamic religion, is that we're not supposed to confuse the kingdom of God with the kingdom of men. Somehow both Christians and Atheists got that one very wrong.

I get what you're saying, and you can argue that it wasn't funny, but to me, the joke was merely a flippant remark that makes fun of racist people; it isn't inherently racist itself, if that's what you mean by "reverse racism"?
Do we know if she's racist? No.
Do comments like "He may be born in America, but he's not one of us" do her any favours? No.
Does she seem to understand the attack she's charging Obama with? I don't think so.

At best she's just extremely ignorant, and all racism is born of ignorance.

It's not uncommon for someone's prejudices to manifest themselves in retarded arguments like the one she's using, and she wouldn't be the first person to use the much more acceptable "communist" as a blanket statement for "the enemy".

If anything, it's just a lazy joke, like all of the "inb4"s, "derp"s, and dickrolls that litter the forum.

I don't really care either way, it just seems like you flew off the handle a bit there.
