Free market healthcare in the US (Oklahoma Surgery Ctr)



That price list looks so much more affordable to the average US citizen. Who needs insurance when you can get a great deal on hammertoe repair!
 
1. Would you charge more if someone were willing to pay you more?
2. Can the average citizen afford getting into any type of accident even if they are paying of your ala cart list?

I know I cant afford to toss out a used Honda every time my noodle burns when I pee. I guess I would prefer to have some type of "universal health care" or a sweet private insurance plan.

The center is a surgery center. Not a center for fixing your burning penis. You can go to a private emergicare center. They charge about a $75 a visit.

The reason the hospitals charge more is because the gov't and insurers pay that. If people paid for their own healthcare, just like at the surgery center, prices would fall.

You can still buy catastrophic insurance to cover accidents, etc. However, I have a feeling Obamacare will outlaw those affordable policies. I have one and only pay $120/month.

In other words, you would like to not pay for what you use, but have the cost hidden and paid for by someone else.

This ^^ is why we can't have nice things.

How does it reduce the overall cost of healthcare? Have you read it? Or are you just spewing talking points because your brain fell out the back of your head.

It's interesting to me that you can watch a short video on an interesting business concept that you could bother to go research if you wanted, and your conclusion is that the video isn't up to your standards and therefore the new system by your favorite president (a standard very literally written by the insurance companies), is going to do just what Mr. President says it will even though a simple calculator and 5 minutes of your time will prove 100% otherwise. I high five your critical thinking skills.
 
^^ Yep. It amazes me how many people are pro-choice on abortion but not on anything else, e.g, light bulbs, insurance, social security, plastic bags.

I like to get under their skin by telling them I'm pro-choice on taxation and plastic bags.
