..and in charge. Really, Americans are too stupid to run a war effectively and have lost the majority of armed conflicts they involved themselves in during the last 50 years (unlike we Brits and Brit-lovers):

1. Somalia: - failure

When President George H W Bush ordered the first of 25,000 US military personnel to the Horn of Africa late in 1992, it was seen as a moral mission to bring aid to starving people by force.


Warlords carving up Somalia were blocking or stealing food deliveries, and more than half-a-million people had already died of hunger.
Less than a year later, the mission had turned into such a disaster that the US has avoided any similar interventions since, even as Somalia has again fallen into famine.

2. Vietnam - failure


3. Korea - stalemate


4. Iraq + Afghanistan - the military-industrial complex drained the economy in a perpetual to the point where it indirectly caused an economic collapse.


5. Iran - Operation Eagle Claw - owned by ragheads - massive failure that resulted in 8 American deaths.


America reminds me of the fat classroom bully who constantly would talk shit, but when he actually got off his obese ass to do something, he tripped on his shoelaces and knocked his own dumb head out. 'Murica!

China
Britain
India
France
Russia
(include any country with a decent infrastructure, the ability to mobilize millions of armed and trained soldiers, as well as a healthy stock of long range nuclear missiles).

It would simply be too economically draining and socially damaging to sustain a war with them. Beat your drums all you want, but the simple fact is that we live in a GLOBAL community and are hopelessly intertwined.

Oh, my bad. Sorry here I was thinking that the purpose of going to war is to achieve victory rather than "sit nearby, twiddle your thumbs while burning billions of dollars and make angry faces" at the opposing side. Silly me.
 
How do you suppose the US would be invaded? Once word got out there would be 10 million 4x4 pickup trucks loaded with mullet loving Americans storming whoever was dumb enough to land on our soil. Didnt you see the movie Red Dawn. That shit is real bro.

ya, but it'd be much more draining for them than for us.
 
there are a lot of things that the US suck at, but one thing that we're the best at is definitely military. numbers don't lie. we have bases everywhere. we have the world's best weapon technology. we have drones, top of the line aircraft carriers, shitloads of jets, tanks and many other things that France, Germany and England didn't even discover yet.

so yeah: our banks suck, our governemnt sucks, our taxation system sucks, our health care sucks, our soccer team sucks.. but don't mess with our ARMY.
