Bitcoin crashes, losing nearly half of its value in six hours

At the beginning of the day, I sympathized for all these people. After spending all day reading the bitcoin subreddit, I want bitcoin to drop to less than a dollar. I fucking hate these people.

I just wish they could put it in context. Understand what it is and what it is not.

Instead, most of the fanatics you'll come across are speculating, and not even using BTC. They are trying to benefit from a rise and will talk up BTC because it's in their direct financial interest to do so.

No one would like to see fiat money get a smack down more than me, but the way to do it is with sound money, not crypto-hashes. I don't care what the sound money is based on, but it must be **SOUND**.
 
Good time to put all of your savings and max out your credit to invest in Bitcoin. Surely it'll be up tomorrow!

So it rises to $266 today and you Llamas are all shouting fire in the theater when it corrects down to between $160-$180?

Whatever happened to all of the "ITS A BUBBLE!" Crap and calls for it to drop down to $0.01?

If anything, today's drop Proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is indeed not a bubble.

A lot of people are cashing out that's why the price has dropped. Someone was selling $50,000 chunks all day. Once they finish selling, it will rebound. It's not a crash.
