Firstly I'm not sure if this is the appropriate section of the forums so if the thread needs to be moved a mod can do it if they wish.

My partner and I would like to do a free ranking campaign for three people who are offering SEO/RANKING services to small businesses as case studies.

A little information, we do linking campaigns and have a mixed network of 2.0 sites and privately owned sites as well. We've been doing it for some time now for national campaigns but decided to start providing it for the "OFFLINE" segment now as well.

We are looking to do the campaigns in the following local niches.


  • Medical
  • Legal
  • Construction
  • Automotive
  • Hospitality (Restaurants)
We will conduct the case study for your client FREE of charge on the following assets. (Of course ND is of utmost import)


  1. Clients main web site.
  2. A web 2.0, new or old doesn't matter. (Blogger, WP, Live, etc.)
  3. A video on any channel such as YouTube, DailyMotion, etc.
So our goal will be to rank all three assets on the first page of Google for your client.

What methods do you use to rank? Just the 2.0s and small network sites? Or something additional?

All I'm gonna say is if you're using this for a giant pre-sell you may want to look around and see how that's worked out in the past.

What about a free case study on what happens to people who try to set up pre-sell threads disguised as free case studies. That would be a much better read than this.
