Imagination Trumps Competition.

It appears to be a comedy show according to the comments...

Edit: Definitely a comedy show:

The part about not keeping score though is sadly quite real. I have two nieces and several younger cousins. That shit is prevalent.

Back in my day we broke necks cashed checks and ridiculed the losers until they became better.

Children these days are growing up soft.

Yeah, I complete agree. We're raise a nation(s) of pussies. I can't begin to comprehend how they are going to compete with different nations on a global scale.

I look at the generation just below mine (I'm in my late 20's) and its a trainwreck. Every child is told that they are a special snowflake and firmly believes that regardless of career choice motivation or skill that they will make $100,000 a year and wake up in a bugatti.

When the real world hits and they have to compete they are clueless.

"We want our children to grow up learning that sport is not about competition, rather it's about using your imagination. If you imagine you're good at soccer, then, you are."

This is why people think they are worth $100k/year. Because hey, who cares if you're good at what you do, amirite? Just imagine you are and you can be anything!

derp.

Definitely agree. Not only is it bad for the nation/economy of the future, it certainly pisses me off that it's affected my gaming hobbies. Gaming companies are pandering to this new ADHD, self-entitled generation with instant gratification, dumb-downed content, and watered-down story lines that have very little depth. It's sad when games from 10 years ago are more challenging and engaging than a lot of today's games.

I'm not sure if I'd called kids pussies. I don't really know, but I listen to my nephews talk about what happens on the rink while they're playing hockey, and those kids don't sound like pussies to me.

Spoiled though I'll agree with. Kids are spoiled nowadays, as this video aptly describes, which was recorded during the OWS protests.

Bear in mind, people have been saying this, literally, forever.

Yep. I'm guessing that I'm somewhere between 3 and 5 years older than Second. I think it's sort of strange that he's already taken on the "get off my lawn" attitude towards the generation after him.

I know plenty of of kids from that generation who are driven, intelligent, and putting in more hours and brain power to accomplish their goals than many of the people on this board or from my generational group would ever dream of doing. I also know plenty of people from my own generation who thought the world would be handed to them on a silver platter. Guess what, every generation has winners and losers, driven and undriven, dreamers and doers. Always has, always will.

The problem with painting with a broad stroke is that everything looks like shit until you break out the detailing brush.

It's been that way for a while, remember this shit:

How are you suppose to get past them? That game was impossible.

Easy solution. Play Eve.

Actually, on second thought, stay the fuck out of my serious internet spaceships game. :p

Naw, that level wasn't that hard at all, but I think still I haven't finished the whole game.

make sure you are running on screen then when they appear, jump on the bricks up top to avoid them. don't stop running once on top!

Since they don't move around too much, I'm guessing you could also jump down in between the top one's throws, wait at the bottom in that safe zone below the start of the first platform, then wait and in between throws, run forward a touch more so the bottom one's throws are going over your head, then get as close as possible to the bottom one without it touching you, and the moment after it's thrown, jump on it.

good luck though. those hammers go through the fucking bricks. Also, if going for a speed run this method will cost a precious second or two.
