With how the Seahawks played today

Carolina might have the best front 7 in the NFL. Absolutely the most underrated. Hawks were missing 4 starters on D. SF was at home, Seattle 3000 miles away from home. Should I continue?

But yeah, they looked like shit for most of the game. Way too many flags.

Packers need to draft some more playmakers on D. Rogers can't win every game by himself.

And since you guys couldn't take down the Whiners, the Hawks will have to do it next week and show who the real King is in that division.

I thought the defense played well. The defense wasn't the reason we lost that game. Two turn overs, poor decisions to run the ball out of the end zone, and a incorrect enforcement of the offsetting penalties by the officials where by far the largest.

well and Boldin getting over 150 yards and Davis getting two touchdowns because they kept popping up behind our safeties. Our secondary is the weakest part of the team.

Things that need to change for us to be dominant:

1) Stronger secondary
2) Jermichael Fucking Finley needs to invest in Stickem'
3) Ross should never return another kick

Your guys hung 28 on arguably the best defense in the NFL. I think a lot of what ails you will be cured by playing "normal" NFL defenses and you can just outscore them by posting 40+. Rodgers is ridiculous.

Come playoffs though, definitely will have to address some of those issues.

Yeah, that call changed the game. A correct call would've made it 4th and 2 at the 6 yard line and the Niners most likely would have been forced to kick a field goal. Instead, they get the TD.

How does an entire coaching staff not realize the ref's mistake?

He had a great postseason, I'll give him that. I think my contempt for him stems from the fact that he's been quoted saying that he's the best QB in the league when he is objectively not in any shape or form.

I'd say he's in the top 5. He didn't even play that bad on Thursday. He can't help it that his receivers dropped practically half the passes he threw to them.

Flags and the line looked bad, everything else looked pretty solid actually. Carolina is going to be a playoff contender though. I was happy the Hawks didn't overlook them on the way in.

He stopped a touchdown on that play.

The play before that was wild, too. Their new TE Walker (formerly from SF) caught a 25-yard strike, turned around got hit and popped out the ball, then ran over and recovered. The Titans tried a hurry-up, and the Steelers secondary wasn't ready, except #43.

It was a good win for the Titans. It may be October until the next one.

Some incredible runs by Shady tonight. Not going to get too excited, this is after all the Eagles/

Things looked explosive and the Eagles will be a better team, but the offense will have its ups and downs as people start to acquire some film on Kelly's pro play calling.

Was Vick sluggish there at the end?

Yeah Vick definitely got tired. I think everyone on the field was really tired.

As far as the tape, I am sure coordinators will catch up, but there are so many dynamic players on our offense. It will be hard to stop. Add the fact that we have one of the best O lines in the league and you have a recipe for a lot of points.

Question is..can our defense stop anyone?

I dont see Vick and that O being able to handle Chips fast paced calls. Huge turnaround from the first to the second half.

I would like to see Chip know when to turn it on and off (regarding the flash cards and ultra fast play calling). It seems like they have the perfect cluster of playmakers to make Kelly's style deadly but if he overdoes it he is going to run these guys into the ground before the season is over.

It's incredible how predictable Philip Rivers' meltdowns are at this point in his career.

i thought he was exhausted. at the end he couldn't throw for shit, and i found myself wishing the chargers would use a "closer" like baseball does, regardless if the problem was conditioning or mindset.

It's just his nature, Rivers is anti-clutch. A closer is actually a good idea honestly.
